FacebookI would never recommend to go with peter lane! They are very unprofessional. When Colin came to value our house, he sat and told us that he wouldn’t know what to put it on for (not what you want to hear when you are expecting a valuation) and if we wanted to make the money we had in mind to put it on 15k over. Due to this we decided to go with another estate agent. When our house was finally on the market we got a very stuck up phone call from Colin himself. (Again very unprofessional, and tried to belittle us) Then due to circumstance we tried to part exchange our house. With Peter Lane valuing our house 65k less then when he see it 2 months ago!!! Tactical, conniving, and extremely unprofessional!!

Terrible, liars, cheaters, very-unprofessional including their recommended mortgage adviser who works for fivestarmortgages head office based in Corby.Recently tried to buy a house through Peter lane and partners estate agents- viewed property, offer accepted and qualified by their recommended mortgage adviser, was using their recommended Solicitor, everything was good to go. When the property offer was accepted after few days their recommended mortgage adviser wasn’t comfortable to go ahead with one of the thing, when he wasted my one week and when I tried to call him to clarify he didn’t even bother take my call, how rude he was. I don’t wanna take his name but at least I can put his initials (T) who works for Peters lane and partners Peterborough branch and for Fivestar mortgages.When he denied to proceed with my mortgage application. The lady (E) who was dealing with that property which I was buying I told her I can use my own mortgage adviser who can help me through mortgage process and my offer was already accepted.I spent a lot time by filling a solicitors forms, sending a variety of docs and mortgage adviser forms, when everything was done and my mortgage adviser was ready to submit the application, This liar told me they had higher offer on the property they didn’t even informed me until my mortgage adviser said he is ready to submit my application. I had long argue about it how they can do this to me, without informing, how they can accept somebody’s else offer because my offered was accepted and I was preparing my application to submit to the bank.Rang in office more than 5-6 times to speak with (R) who was dealing with property with no success, All I was told by another liars sitting in office She told me while ago they had an higher offer and you know that, very surprising. If they would have told earlier then I would have stopped my mortgage adviser to do any credit search and I didn’t need to waste my that much time finding a solicitor, filling their forms and rest of the thing until offer got accepted.Like a mortgage adviser this (E) also didn’t bother to contact me, eventually I tried again 7th time before they close their office, I spoke to her despite my offer was previously accepted I increased my offer again then another buyer because My solicitor was ready, asking for memorandum of sale and mortgage adviser was ready to submit my application.Here next day comes, I have been waiting since morning for her call for an update but no response, I decided to check property online, I was very angry. surprised that when it was showing sold, immediately I rang in office to find out what’s going on (E) liar and cheater told me it has been sold to another buyer and made an excuse I was going to call you but I missed. Sounds like a they had already decided to go ahead with another buyer before my higher offer. This is the story for these liars and cheaters sitting in that office.I’m sure I will never use them again because they are not trustworthy. They are liars and cheater who never stick with their words.Avoid them at any cost.

FacebookTerrible experience. If you're a buyer I suggest you go elsewhere before you get treated like absolute dirt. It has been made clear that the buyers are not their clients and they act only in the interest if the vendor. Unprofessional! I have never been treated like this in my life! Disgusting! We have been gazumped twice by the Huntingdon office.
Ultimately we are duty bound to take instructions from the owner of the property regarding the sale, however, we are obviously disappointed you were unhappy with the experience as we are keen to maintain our reputation of providing a high level of customer service.

GoogleFantastic experience dealing with Caroline on the purchase of our new family home. From the first viewing all through to exchange Caroline has been on hand and gone above and beyond to help, mainly due to another agent further up the chain not being on the ball!! Even on her days off and evenings Caroline was still keeping us updated for which we are very grateful. She played a huge part in keeping the upper chain together and without her help I dread to think what could have happened. So thank you Caroline, you are a credit to the industry.

GoogleGavin and the team at PL St Neots did a brilliant job in very quickly selling our home and also with negotiating the purchase of our dream home in another village being sold by another agent. PL are very good with marketing/photos/brochures and overall management of viewings to point of agreed sale and they are on it until you complete ensuring there are no unnecessary delays within chain and solicitors. Made what can be stressful much easier.
