Rental services - poor communication and hidden fees

We use Pedder to rent our property and sadly very disappointed by the service. When we set up the agreement they tried to charge us £300 fee that they hadn't disclosed before. They agreed to waive this but then when the first rent was due it came out of the payment - we did end up getting this refunded after chasing. Now the tenants paid rent late but Pedder failed to inform us and we only found out after chasing days after it was due. Our main point of contact at the Forest Hill branch offered no apology for this and yet we're still expected to pay for the service this month despite it not being fulfilled properly. We rent out the property because we were unable to sell it - it is not profit making and Pedder messing us around with this money has a very real impact on our finances and chances of paying our mortgage on time. Would not be using them again.
