GoogleWe are so glad we went with Pearson and Ferrier, they were a great help and communicated and supported throughout the sale of our property. We’d have been lost if we didn’t have the support!

GoogleWe have dealt with P F for many years and have nothing but high praise for them. A special thanks to Chris, ,lettings manager who ,despite our requests, always managed to find the perfect tenants.
The sale was handled with professionalism, keeping us informed throughout.
Julien and his team worked hard in securing us a buyer.
We would certainly recommend P F ,a five star service.

TrustpilotHad this bad luck buying flat…
Had this bad luck buying flat advertised by this branch. Had my first viewing with employee Olivier who came out later provided lots of incorrect information regarding this flat, in the middle of buying process he left company and Iain took over- really disappointing experience, very unpleasant. I you can avoid this branch- so many much better companies out there.

TrustpilotPearson Ferrier Bolton - very poor service for landlords
I have a property in Bolton which is fully managed by Pearson Ferrier (Bolton branch). In February, the immersion heater was replaced. The rent due covered the quoted cost with a small remainder due to me. To add to this, I still haven’t received the April rent and have had no contact to advise me why. I have called the branch 8 times since February 20th, sent 8 emails, with no response to any of them. When you call you get through to a messaging service who promise someone will get back to you - but nobody does. How does a company in the service industry survive when providing a ‘service’ of this standard?

Bajanin I am very sorry for your issues with the Bolton Office of Pearson Ferrier, this office has traded under a licence to use our brand for a number of years, initially with brief success but we have at great legal expense taken over 9 months for this business trading as A&K Property Solutions to cease and desist from using our brand this was sanctioned legally over 3 months ago you should have been contacted by Omar immediately perhaps make contact with his solicitors Commercial@silverdalelaw.co.uk

GoogleThe phone and email contact was good. Nyreen was pleasant and professional. So this feedback does not relate to her. However, unfortunately her colleauge Julian has let the team down when it comes to customer service.
If you are considering selling your house with this agent please be aware that the estate agent, Julian, who we 'showed' a house by had absolutely zero selling skills, communication skills or customer service. He stood outside on the driveway during the viewing and made no attempt to build a rapport, or talk about the property.
My husband arrived a few minutes early to an appointment, I arrived at the time of the appointment. Julian the estate agent tried to rush my husband to look at the bungalow before I arrived. When I arrived (on time) he didn't greet me, introduce himself, tell me anything about the property and in no way attempted to sell it. He was just the key holder standing on the driveway. No attempt to build rapport. It gave a very bad impression of the estate agents company and we have been to quite a few viewings with other estate agents in the area whose customer service was top notch. I even asked him if he was the vendor as I left, as I thought he surely wouldn't be so rude if he were attempting to sell the property. I feel very sorry for the owners, as the agent was not acting on their behalf at all. We were in and out in 5 minutes, so there was no need for him to rush us for the next client that was due 10 minutes later...
If you are considering selling I would recommend you look at some of my other reviews, which highlight the agents that present much better qualities and values in their conduct during viewings. Just something to consider when your choosing your agent.
Also, just as an idea of the customer service, check out the review replies. It gives a clear idea of the passive aggressive tone as a company (I believe Julian is an owner looking at the previous reviews). For example, check out the reply to 'James Rogers' review where the owner consistently advises 'if it were me..' or 'perhaps it's just me...'. From my experience, and reading their review replies, their values as a company unfortunately are unprofessional and they don't handle critique in an adult mature fashion. Reading their customer review responses gives a clear indication as to this ethos.
Response to Julian's reply: You have unfortunately proven my point with regards to a passive aggressive tone, and unnecessary personal insult. In no way have I alluded to my own faults, you are correct in your assertion that we all have our faults. But to suggest I am sanctimonious for calling you out on your poor behaviour only adds further injury to your own public perception and that of your company. As I said in my original review, you seem to find it difficult to reflect on feedback in a mature fashion. And for some reason, you have demonstrated that perfectly in your response...
We all get given feedback from time to time. In this instance, your role was as an agent for the vendor. You did them a dis-service, and I wanted to highlight this.. It is a shame that as a company owner you set such a negative tone and cannot develop and reflect on feedback.
I wonder if you might take a leaf out of your colleague's books, and work on your customer service skills. My husband and I have had lots of experiences where we haven't been shown around a property because of Covid, and that part was not the gist of the feedback. You made no attempt to talk the property up, or even welcome us. We were an inconvenience to you.
I fear you are missing the whole point of the review. That your demeanour and customer service skills were lacking. Your behaviour made us feel uncomfortable, unwelcome and rushed. When we were on-time and friendly with you. As I said, I was shocked you were the agent, as your behaviour was so incongruous with the idea of selling a property.
Kind regards

Hi Georgina thanks for taking the time to write such an insightful review, as with such matters opinions may vary. Due to the slightly limited access for viewing appointments and the owners availability and commitments and the high level of interest in this property we have had to arrange group viewings. Its not a large house and does not take long to wonder around and given the size and current COVID issues, its far better to allow someone to wonder around without any distractions and as such on the 25+ viewings that have taken place I have informed everyone to take a look and help themselves, after every viewing, yours aside I have discussed the property outside in the open air, some conversations very brief others up to 15 minutes, as most of the viewings the house was not suitable. I meet many people in the course of a day and its fair to say there are a mixture of personalities. However, I reserve judgements on my opinion on others as I would choose not to be so sanctimonious that I myself am not without fault. I wish you well with your search - Kind regards Julian Ferrier

GoogleCalled and arranged a viewing of a property with Mr Pearson. Waited at the property at the agreed time/day but no one turned up. Further to waiting and calling their office I was advised nothing was in their diary for the viewing and Mr Pearson was not contactable. Ultimately wasted my time. Very unprofessional.

GoogleLack of communication throughout the whole place. I got told by the Estate agent who manages my house that I could do a “day rate” to stay one extra day at the end of the tenancy but they didn’t communicate with the owner of the house (who’s details I never got) now the Owner of the house wants to take ME to court for not being out on my tenancy end date. They have not communicated with anybody and of course have not took any responsibility what so ever, even all what’s app messages are clearly to them. They wouldn’t communicate with the landlord due to them saying she was “aggressive” towards them through out the whole tenancy. Would not recommend what so ever they cause more mental health than it’s even worth ! Go elsewhere and get a proper management of your home and have peace of mind that they are giving you correct information and not costing you more money in court because they can’t be bothered to communicate with the OWNER of the house, it’s like they don’t have a clue what they are doing. They don’t fix stuff in the property but are on you like a rash if you have not paid rent by 12 the day it’s due ! Some may call them money grabbers…….the house was handed over to us in a absolute state and we left it in a tidy manor and even fixed stuff in the house (at our own cost) because they are not worth even asking to do a fixtures to the property. The whole house was false advertised to us as well as we was promised appliances will be left for us…..on the day of moving in the house was emptied and again cost us almost £1000 more in having to provide all appliances due to again LACK OF COMMUNICATION. What we got told after making all of this known was that the owner of this branch isn’t interested. But what else could you expect from this place?

GoogleJust had an exemplary experience buying a property through the Bury branch of Pearson Ferrier estate agents. We lucked out having a very friendly and efficient sales negotiator called Jennifer Sanders who talked us through each stage and was always contactable and returned emails and phone calls very quickly!
Jenny was active in getting everything sorted when the process was stalled, chased where needed, always kept us in the loop with every development, Jenny effortlessly guided us through the process and remained next to us every step of the way. Highly recommended agents, extremely professionals, we couldn’t have asked for better, Thanks Jenny!

GoogleAfter having a horrendous experience with my previous selling experience with other company's and solicitors, I was desperate for someone who could help me sell my apartment. After reaching out to the team at Pearson Ferrier in Bury, it was quickly apparent it was the best decision I made. With a slow start due to bank holidays and so forth due to Christmas, Iain Dawson took my case and ran with it. He quickly got it on the market and handled everything for me, which was fantastic when I was not in the country. Without any computer system or portal, which other companies say make things easier and robust (In my case was completely the opposite with other companies), Iain kept me up-to-date at all points that was a breath of fresh air compared to the previous companies I used. Once I agreed a sale, he was on point making sure the sale was progressing throughout, which again was awesome. Dealing with the buyer and their solicitor, he just ensured that everything was flowing through. Though the sale took longer than average which wasn't Iain or his teams fault, we finally completed in April when agreeing the sale in January which was far better than my previous sale which was almost a year with nothing in the end to show for it. So, a massive thanks to the Pearson Ferrier team and especially Iain as without them, I would not be released of my unwanted property noose. Top work by a top team and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a very personal service!
