Such an easy experience, the sales staff were super informative and helpful, they recommended the solicitors and mortgage advisors who were also excellent and meant we went from reserving to completing in less than 5 weeks. Developers/builders themselves were great too, really thorough.

The care and communication from the site office before completion was great and when there has been any issues since moving in, our Site Manager Adrian Molla has been absolutely brilliant, dealing with things straight away, we can't fault him. An excellent customer experience.

Chelsea is the absolute best! She made my first home buying journey easy and enjoyable. She's warm and friendly and has tonnes of knowledge about the development and it's history which was very interesting and added more appeal to the site. She was very detailed in all her explanations of the house and site and shared useful information that I wouldn't have thought to ask about. In short, she went above and beyond in her job.

Beautifully made homes in Cotswold stone modern interior design and colouring very impressive also very impressed with dedication, knowledge and professionalism of staff I was very pleased with Sarah at Whitechapel Gardens whom was extremely professional and dedicated in every way with all information I had asked and company business incentives on helping buyers also I must mention Heather to as a very dedicated team member I just hope that their company directors will see the potential in these two excellent members of staff whom spoke excellent well spoken English in a very beautiful part of England.

Coping stones cut and installed incorrectly. Barretts replaced them across the entire estate with like for like stones after they blew within 5 yrs. The second set blew again .. Barretts not interested in remediating correctly. All homeowners left with a nearly £10k bill each .. disgraceful service.

There customer service was second to none. Our sales advisor at Barratts was very helpful and knowledgeable. He kept us informed at all stages, sending pictures of our house as it was being built. We were able to call in at anytime and ask him anything.

When we bought our beautiful new how we were delighted. The first few weeks of moving in the staff couldn’t be faulted. However after being in a couple of months while the house has started to settle that’s when all the problems started. The houses are fitted with poor quality windows and doors that do meet the national standard but only just. Our doors have warped which is a common thing on our ease making it impossible to lock the doors. When contacting Barrett’s they are really rude and unhelpful. Always seem to pass you on to other people and the problem never is actually resolved. Customer service is shocking as we would never buy a Barrett house again as we are left with house that has faulty windows and unsafe doors

The most amazing home buying experience with Barrett’s thanks to Alex the Sales Manager at the Lockwood Fields development. Recently moved into a property that I’ve been waiting for since it was soil. Alex has been just brilliant start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble, she has heaps of experience and I trusted her throughout this process 100%. Also special thanks to Emma and Katie who have also been on the end of the phone whenever I’ve had questions over last 8 months. Since moving in Brian, who is one of the site team has been fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. I was poorly first few days of moving in and both the site manager (apologies name escapes me!) and Alex reached out to check on me. It’s the little things that make the difference; they seem to really care about their customers. I was warned by friends who have bought new builds to be prepared to be underwhelmed when I get the keys. We weren’t underwhelmed at all. The house is beautiful, everything has been done to a high standard and even the person we hired to do snagging checks said he was impressed! Overall no regrets buying a Barrett home, I know we are going to be really happy here with Barrett’s on the end of the phone if we need anything. 100% recommend, take the plunge!

2 years ago when we moved into a new build at Gilmerton Heights, Barratt was promising play area for children, 2 years later they are building houses there instead. This is not to mention anything else about the lies they said when selling these properties. No ramps on the roads making people speed , zero safety. I could go on forever.
