2 years ago when we moved into a new build at Gilmerton Heights, Barratt was promising play area for children, 2 years later they are building houses there instead. This is not to mention anything else about the lies they said when selling these properties. No ramps on the roads making people speed , zero safety. I could go on forever.

We have visited the show houses at Thornbury Gardens 4 times. The office staff were also supportive and helpful in answering our queries. Both me and my husband are both in our 70s moving house is quite daunting so dealing with competent staff in the office was reassuring. We visited on Sunday and met with Tara. We were pleased that the house we wanted was available. We decided there and then to make the committment to buy. Tara explained in comprehensive detail everything about the property. It made us feel confident that we were doing the right thing and this gave us a warm feeling that at last we had made the right decision. Tara explained how the whole process works in very simple terms. When l was teaching, simplicity was the key to learning and understanding. When we started the day we were apprehensive about house viewing planned for that day but we both felt happy and relieved on our journey home. If we hadn't met Stefan that day, we would not be living in a Barratt home right now! The house itself is amazing, the extras Barratt offer are better than any developer out there, the guys on the site are brilliant. I cannot fault Barratt in any way. Our mortgage/selling/moving process was so smooth, which was also thanks to Stefan at Barratt, as he provided useful contacts and advice along the way.
