I was initially nervous about selling my property for the first time, but choosing Neilson’s Estate Agents made all the difference. From my first meeting with Lewis Hunter and my early contact with Suzie Steenkamp, I felt completely at ease and confident moving forward.

GoogleWhen I instructed Neilsons to do the conveyancing for my sale, I thought it was all going to be straightforward. The buyer had some very last-minute requests and things started to look uncertain only two weeks before we were supposed to move. Huge thanks to Kara for advising me and pushing through to complete the sale on time. Highly recommend the team at Picardy Place!

TrustpilotWhat started off well with the sales…
What started off well with the sales team putting property on the market swiftly and great communication with Siobhan, quickly turned into absolutely appalling service from Anne. No replies to several emails, no documentation and indeed still waiting for some items, incorrect fees asked for on a Saturday night expecting an extra £10k to complete immediately, when I fact that’s what they were due me. Sale didn’t complete on time despite having months notice. Still being asked for proof of amends to kitchen the day of completion despite being provided three months earlier. To top it off a formal complaint has gone in which hasn’t been acknowledged. Tomorrow we go to the independent bureau to lodge a formal complaint with them. Would never ever use again. Maybe a different solicitor but not this particular one

GoogleWe recently used Neilsons for both the sale of our current home and purchase of our new house. Jenna ensured that the process went smoothly and without hitch start to finish. Her responsiveness (even when out of office / out of usual hours), attention to detail, knowledge and expertise made what could have been a stressful time a lot less worrying - a huge thank you to her, and Danielle, for their kind support and 10/10 service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell or buy a house in the Edinburgh / Lothian area.

GoogleThese people were great. Joe, Alex, Maddie and everybody else involved in the sale of our property. They were in touch all the time. We didn’t have to call them, other than points of interest on our behalf. Great team. Thank you so much. Best wishes for Xmas and The New Year from Myself and Marilyn.
