We’ve just put our home on the market and I wanted to give some feedback in the form of a review regarding our experience so far & also our photography session yesterday - Friday 29th May. Nick from the Canterbury office was covering for a colleague so had to travel to Herne Bay & was absolutely brilliant!! He was professional, friendly & supportive throughout the process. He talked me through, & took me through the photography process easily, naturally & confidently and it was so interesting to see how it works! We have indoor cats that mean the world to us & Nick was so respectful & understanding of this and I really appreciate it. Also, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Harvey from Herne Bay who has been incredible. He’s such a genuine guy with real enthusiasm for what he does & it absolutely shines through. He’s been consistently supportive & helpful and is making what is realistically a stressful time a lot easier! Rueben from Herne Bay was also extremely polite & professional on our initial first visit to the house that we hope to own! He’s been really communicative & has kept me in the loop with progress so far. I feel people are far too quick to complain these days but rarely compliment, so I wanted to share my experience as the guys are all amazing and an absolute credit! Cris.

When selling your home it is good to have someone knowledgable and experienced in your corner, and this was certainly my experience with Kirsten from Neilsons. She was friendly and approachable at all times and responded quickly with sound advice throughout the process, handling everything professionally and promptly while I moved to another country with a significant time difference. She pursued any hiccups or issues that arose determinedly to find a resolution. She was always on hand with strategies and recommendations and with a clear mission to get the best sale possible. I believe had I gone with a lesser agency I would have had a far less favourable outcome, but thankfully with Kirsten's help I received the amount I wanted from my sale. A special mention has to be made to Kirsten for excellent sales negotiating, and to Stephanie for conveyancing my house purchase under pressure. A massive shout out to Arlene who did the conveyancing on my house sale. It was a very challenging situation, and she went the extra mile to ensure it progressed on time. I’ve been working with Anne at Neilsons on the Scottish side of my property purchase while also selling in England, and she has been fantastic throughout. She’s been patient, clear, and very supportive in helping me understand the differences between the English and Scottish systems, especially where timings and risks don’t quite align. Anne always responds promptly, explains things in a way that makes sense, and has given me real confidence during what could otherwise have been a very stressful process. Anne also managed the pressure from the Scottish seller’s solicitors extremely well, keeping them informed and making sure my purchase was never at risk of falling through due to the differing timelines between missives in Scotland and contract exchange in England. The estimated budget planner provided at the start reflected the actual costs at the end, which was really reassuring. Other colleagues I dealt with at the firm were also excellent - Kara covered for Anne while she was on leave and was prompt and supportive in her responses, ensuring my purchase kept progressing. Sarah was very helpful too, finding solutions quickly when the bank delayed providing a statement. I really appreciate the way Anne kept me updated and coordinated with my English solicitor, making sure nothing fell through the gaps. I would highly recommend Anne and Neilsons to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and approachable solicitor in Scotland

I would not hesitate to recommend Neilsons if you are considering selling your home. We used them for the recent sale and purchase of our flat in Edinburgh. The Estate Agency team are amazing, the marketing materials and strategy that Amy put together were second to none. Everyone that we dealt with in this department were exceptional. I need to make a special mention of Kirsten our sales negotiator who is exceptional at her job and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were then passed to the conveyancing team, who had a pretty high bar after such a fantastic experience already. But Dave, Diane and Emily were more than up to the task!
