I Visited the Grange site in Formby last weekend, had the pleasure of dealing with Claire who was super friendly and knowledgeable, informing me of new regulations regarding energy efficiency, I was very impressed . She sent me over to see the show home at Pavilion Row, Margie was also very helpful and approachable. We are still thinking about selling our current home, however I will definitely be back to the Grange if we do sell.

After a visit to the Hunsbury Grange development I thought I would take this chance to say what amazing service I got from Jess. Having never looked at a "New" home before Jess explained the in's and out's and all the benefits of buying brand new. I am now currently deciding when I will be back in contact with Jess to proceed further once some more plots are released!

Almost two years in the property and issues still occurring! My entire back garden has washed away and they say it’s my fault! I haven’t even planted a bush! I have a 5 week old at home who will have a mud pit for a back garden and they refuse to do anything. Terrible customer service!

We purchased our morris home at St Mary’s Park in Penwortham moving in at the start of Feb 2024. The whole purchase went very smoothly with us part-exchanging our old property with Morris. Carol and Vic in the sales dept were excellent throughout the purchase process with nothing being too much trouble or time consuming for them. They helped guide us through the purchase process and kept us well informed of developments throughout. Once purchased, we met the site manager Shaun, who has been great with us since we got the keys and moved in. Obviously there were some minor snagging issues as with all new builds and are expected by all parties, but these have been sorted almost immediately by Shaun and his friendly team. The whole experience has been very smooth and we would recommend Morris and St Mary’s Park highly. In fact we have done to some friends who are house hunting. Despite living on an active build site, we have commented that it doesn’t actually feel so. Noise is relatively low, site workers are courteous, friendly and approachable and bar the dust, which is what it is on a build site, it has been no issue at all. Thanks to Carol, Vic and Shaun for helping set us up in our new home :)

The build quality of Morris homes is very poor, if you intend to buy one just be aware of this then you won't be disappointed when you are in....forget trying to complain customer care are not interested. I own a toaster with a better guarantee than my hose!

Be careful when buying a home from Morris Homes! (Scum of a company). Once they have your money for the house they don't want to know! This is the garden, they laid the turf and have put no drainage in at all. This is just walking on the grass. Morris homes said because we didn’t report this issue last year ( even though we are still in our 2 year warranty) and we have walked over the grass they will not be installing any drainage. There head of customer care Chris Moylan came round to look at the garden and said it was acceptable and they will not be doing anything about it. This guy has no ground work experience as stated by him self he just sits in an office how he can make that decision just sums this company up! They think it’s acceptable to only walk on your grass for 3 months of the year while it’s dry. The soil is clay soil so the water has no where go! The estates Facebook group homeowners are complaining about how boggy there gardens are, they have also got no where with this joke of a company! DO NOT BUY A HOUSE HERE IF YOU WANT TO GO IN THE GARDEN.

She really helped us to assess the development and we were very impressed with how much green space had been included on the development. I would recommend Morris Homes to anyone.

The Willows, Kineton, Warwickshire.The sales advisor, Geeta was extremely professional and pleasant to talk to. We were amazed to find someone in the sales office on Easter Sunday. Although we were not actually looking to buy ourselves, we were making enquiries on behalf of another family member. Geeta was able to direct us to what information we needed to relay on our return home. Thank you. ( The chocolate was an unexpected gift and delicious)

Morris Homes refusing to sign and pay for adoption of roads on all Lancashire sites preventing residents from having utility upkeep and safety to their streets. Our county councillors are regularly trying to chase but this has been ongoing for over a year. Please do the right thing Morris homes starting with the site off moss lane, whittle le woods, Chorley rather than taking money off people and devolving all responsibility.

Geeta is welcoming and happy to assist. I moved into my Morris Home at the Willows in Kineton over a year ago and Geeta remains on site in the sales office as the last few houses are sold. She always engages in conversation and wears a smile upon her face. Whilst any queries I have are done through the central customer service department Geeta is always happy to point me in the right direction or assist if she can.

Morris Homes are poorly built. Buy one at your peril. The master bedroom door is not hung right ie spirit level shows its well out and the ceiling in the front room had to be reinforced has it looked like it was bellowing. The corner pieces between the ceiling and the wall in the master bedroom are also not straight thetes a slight bellow seen there and some rendering is poor. The main drain from the downstairs toilet is cracked and I'm told any repair is at my own cost. The house is leasehold and the leases through home ground working for Abacus are toxic having gone from £300 to £440 in 10 years. £140 is not the current RPI rate on £300 (March 2024) which they originally stated it would be. Its looking like our MORRIS HOME will be hard to sell now because of this technically trapping us here. Why would i want a 4 bed detached house and not own it? I have a landlord demanding money from me and restricting what I can and can't do in my own home. The road has been left unadopted and Morris Homes who built the houses won't take responsibility for that either even though it's already wearing out in the 10 years we have been here and is still unadopted by the local council. I wouldn't buy any of their homes not one. The build quality is rubbish. Don't be misguided by their sales tactics they leave you high and dry. Your home is your kingdom its a shame mines crumbling around me.
