GoogleHorrible quality of the build. Guttering constantly leaking which damages the rendering, plasterboard damaged and uneven from day 1, top soil non existent, the garden is full of clay and rubbish mix. The roads are left without tarmac for years following the completion. Avoid Morris Homes and all cost, go with a different builder at Wintringham.

GooglePlease avoid this company at all costs. We raised a concern during the sales process (look into EWR before parting with any money) they said they’d only sell us the house if we sign a waiver to say we wouldn’t complain about Morris Homes’ lack of disclosure about the surrounding area and the location of their “premium” plots. Completely disappointing

GoogleSoil for toilet keeps blocking, had professional engineers round saying Soil runs wrong way in places, Morris homes not interested, won't do anything about it. Turfs that have been laid are on minimal top Soil if any also been laid on top of debris, round the paths in front of the house the edging concrete is to high, therefore grass is not rooting properly and lots of brown patches. The paint on the door frames is to soft.

GoogleMorris homes are ok but they do take forever to lay roads around completed streets. We moved into our Morris home in 2021 and all the homes around us were completed then. Though the road owned by the home owners were completed, the access roads around us are still not completed. Other builders seem to be finishing up their roads way quicker. Also, if you are looking for secondary schools, st Neots ain’t the place!

GoogleTerrible, definitely not a 5 star builder as we were advised upon reserving our home. You raise snags and they take months to book the relevant work in, some of the operatives don’t bother turning up on the date booked. The operatives either leave work unfinished or make the snags worse. You then have to wait even longer chasing customer care for the work to be booked back in which takes another few months. I’m pretty sure morris are just trying to drag out the process until we are out of our warranty period. Morris just try to build as many houses as quickly and cheaply as possible. The only good reviews listed on trust pilot are ones of people who have only reserved a house and not even moved in yet. All the problems start after they take your money and are moved in.

Post-handover, the site managers Nick and Sarita exceeded expectations, promptly addressing snags and going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for my move-in. I highly recommend Morris Homes for a seamless and stress-free homebuying experience.
