We are due to complete our purchase with Morris Homes in a couple of months and we have been extremely impressed with our salesman Chris at Arden Park. We originally were against buying a new build for our family home, having had a bad experience with a different developer in the past. We viewed many second hand houses but decided to give Morris Homes a chance as we liked the idea of a smaller developer. When we walked in we were greeted by Chris who instantly made us feel at home in the office. He let us have a wander of the show homes and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the rooms. At our first appointment there was absolutely no pressure at all to make any decisions and Chris was very understanding of our previous hesitations towards new builds. He really showcased how Morris Homes cares about the client and we felt instantly appreciated. He listened to our needs and expectations and has met them completely. Chris is a real credit to Morris Homes and we can’t recommend him enough. Thank you Chris! Hollie & Louie 🏡🤎

We had an appointment with Alison Ayres, the Sales Consultant at The Orchards, Shelbourne Estates, Fulbourn, and we were genuinely impressed by her outstanding service. Alison is incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. She took the time to explain everything in detail, patiently answered all our questions, and made sure we understood every aspect of the development. She made us feel comfortable and valued throughout the appointment, without making us feel rushed or pressured. We have visited many housing developments and met several sales consultants during our house-hunting journey, but Ali has truly been the best by far. Her professionalism, knowledge, patience, and warm approach really stood out to us. Thank you, Ali, for making our experience so pleasant and memorable. You are a real credit to Shelbourne Estates, and we would highly recommend her to anyone considering buying a home at The Orchards!

Chris has been absolutely fantastic. He’s incredibly welcoming, friendly and genuinely makes you feel at ease. What really stood out to us was how approachable and understanding he is, there’s none of the usual pushy sales approach, and instead he genuinely takes the time to actually listen and understand. His knowledge is brilliant, and he explains everything clearly without ever making you feel pressured or rushed into making a decision. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving people the right experience rather than just making a sale. Honestly, it’s a pleasure dealing with Chris. He’s a real credit to Morris Homes. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

We’ve recently purchased a property on Hugglescote Grange, and cannot fault the process from start to finish! Sales advisor Jack was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process, so happy to deal with any of our many questions and made the process more enjoyable thanks to his bubbly, positive character! Jack also continues to check on us after the sale, and is a pleasure to talk to and see! Once moving in, we met Martin the site manager. Martin is so lovely and friendly, and was a pleasure to meet! He has been nothing but helpful, always checking on us and that everything is okay and that we’re happy, and that nothing needs doing. He is always quick to sort anything which needs doing, always replies promptly or answers the phone when we’ve had questions etc and again always a pleasure to see and smiling! Also, a big shoutout to Tom the forky on site! Again always smiling, and always says hello. He went above and beyond constantly, he’d check our freshly laid grass was watered, and water if it needed some during the hot heatwave! - the little things count! Overall the estate itself is lovely! Morris themselves have been great, and every person weve dealt with, wether it be sales, site, trades etc and even higher up when I’ve had calls from head offices etc to check were happy and doing well have been great though out and I’d highly recommend!

We were first sceptical about getting a new build as our next family home, however from the first moment we met Jess, she took the time and effort to talk us through our options and addressing our queries. We now know exactly what we want thanks to Jess and we can’t recommend her work enough. The rapport she has with residents already living on the development is amazing, showing the consistent high level of care and pride she takes in her work. Thanks Jess

Hannah and Victoria at Rivington Park Horwich, are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, they have made the experience of buying a new house easier with their thoughtful and understanding approach to me as a customer. A massive thank you to you both. I highly recommend taking a look at Rivington Park, it’s beautiful and has a wonderful feel to it as you drive into the estate.

Very disappointing experience with Morris Homes. We purchased our new-build apartment in 2022 and were given a LABC Warranty cover note, but it took almost four years to finally obtain the warranty certificate. The issue became critical when we decided to sell our apartment, as our buyer’s solicitor required the certificate and our sale was put at risk because of the delay. Despite repeated emails and chasing, communication from Morris Homes was extremely poor. We even submitted a formal complaint, which was completely ignored, we received no response whatsoever, not even an automated acknowledgement. We eventually had to escalate the matter, including contacting our MP/councillor, before the situation was finally resolved. Thankfully, we have now received the certificate, but the amount of time, stress and uncertainty caused by this process was completely unacceptable. I hope Morris Homes improves its communication, complaint handling and after-sales support so other homeowners don’t have to go through the same experience.

Please note this review relates solely to Martin the Site Manager. He (and his small team of workmen, particularly Tom) has been excellent, always going the extra mile to help. Martin is a credit to the Company he works for. He is professional and polite, even when faced with difficult situations , and there's been a few. Inspite of these he has delivered solutions. Martin can be relied on, trusted and does a brilliant job , the sort of person that is rare today.

Whenever family or friends come to visit they are always impressed with the quality and comment that my home has been built to a high standard and is impeccable. I must give a special thanks to Scott and the sales team at Shelbourne Estates who are always willing to assist with any queries and for providing continued quality customer service. I have and will continue to recommend to anyone to purchase a home with Shelbourne Estates as they will not be disappointed!

We were looking for a new and bigger house for the kids to grow up in, in a neighbourhood that feels "organic" rather than planned at a drawing board. A few weeks ago, we have moved into our new home in Shelbourne Estates - The Orchards, and found just that. The purchase process was smooth and we felt genuinely supported by the Shelbourne team throughout. The few snags that we have found since moving in were quickly resolved.

We’ve had a very positive experience with Shelbourne Estates. The properties are well built and finished to a good standard, and we’ve been very happy with our new home. Buying a new-build naturally comes with a few questions and snagging items along the way, but the after-sales support has been excellent. A special thanks to Alison from the sales team, and Matt and Michael, the site managers, who have always been approachable, responsive and helpful. They’ve dealt with all our queries, requests and snagging issues and have made sure things are followed up and resolved. We really appreciate all their help and support, both during the buying process and since moving in. We would happily recommend Shelbourne Estates.
