GoogleDONT EVER PURCHASE A SHARED OWNERSHIP PROPERTY WITH LEGAL AND GENERAL!! Trying to sell my house and getting absolutely nowhere. Orbit was my original landlord and my sale was going really well with them. Then L&G took over as my landlord and the sale has ground to a halt. My sale will very likely fall through due to buyer not wanting to wait any longer, which is understandable. You can’t phone anyone to speak with an actual human being, all communication is via email which just seems to be constantly ignored. I’ve even written to the CEO and he assured me someone would be in contact today to help resolve the problems. No one has contacted me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

GoogleI would like to rate L&G affordable homes 5* because the service in which I have received from one of the Sales Consultants Natalie Lawrenson has been superb throughout the whole process of buying a shared ownership home. Being a FTB the process can be daunting and overwhelming but having Natalie gave me a level of comfort. She answered all my queries, she responded to emails in a timely fashion and was even my go to person when my solicitor was chasing a response from their Solicitors and it was resolved in 30 minutes. Natalie connected all the dots and kept me updated throughout. I can’t thank you enough Natalie. Thank you so much Natalie for all your help!

GoogleJust bought one of the lovely shared ownership builds L&G. After 7 months of problems with a previous purchase (not L&G) that fell through. We had a meeting with the lovely Jamie Fraser at East River Wharf and we ended up buying one of these lovely flats. It couldn’t have been any easier. Jamie guided us through the process and was available any day to help. It took 6 weeks only to complete from when we viewed the property. GoogleMy partner and I have recently purchased a share to buy property in London. After having much difficulty even ascertaining viewings for desired properties, we quickly understood how many hurdles were needed to jump through to even begin our search. We then stumbled upon Legal and General’s Royal Wharf complex, where we expressed interest after the area ticking most of our boxes. We were first greeted by Mark who phoned us back within hours of the request, who was patient and to the point with answering our questions and getting us in contact with his colleague Jamie, who would take the sale forward if we desired and showed us around the property and local complex. Jamie's dedication to providing top-notch service truly stood out throughout the entire process. Even before we decided to reserve. From our initial meeting/viewing to the completion, Jamie consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the sale was smooth and stress-free for us. On occasion the stress couldn’t be helped, but he was always on the ball with interrogating issues that cropped up and coming to a resolution. He was always available to answer any questions or concerns promptly, making us feel supported and well-informed at every step. I didn’t expect an out of hours reply over email from him at 9pm a few weeks ago, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Lastly, Jamie's proactive approach and willingness to go the extra mile demonstrated a genuine commitment to helping us secure the property. I’m well aware there’s deadlines, commission and reward out of these sales, but despite this, I felt valued as a client, and I am grateful for his expertise and guidance throughout the process. Overall, I would highly recommend Jamie Fraser and Legal and General Affordable Homes to anyone looking for their first home. He exceeded expectations, and I am grateful for his hard work and dedication even when things became very convoluted and nearly fell through. Thank you, Jamie - top man.

GoogleI have had problems with my shower since I moved in 4 weeks ago. A new part was fitted 16/4/24 and it still doesn't work. The plumbing is backwards, the override doesn't work and it doesn't regulate temperature. Sick of having to keep explaining myself.

Throughout the entire journey, Mark was always available to address any questions or concerns, accommodate last minute viewings and took measurements for me when I couldn’t make it down.
