Having had little experience of Estate agents for many years I did my research and Jordan & Halstead was one of three I approached for the sale of my late father's house. Cameron was courteous from the start , knowledgeable of the local area and understanding of the wrench of selling our family home of over 50 years. Given the circumstances I wanted to choose a smaller estate agent who offered a more personal touch and i believe he delivered in achieving that. Silly as it may seen i haven't forgotten how he took off his shoes before entering the house and that to me was a sign of someone who would be respectful and courteous in his dealings with me. That proved to be true. Both Cameron and Sue were friendly but professional and showed empathy for the difficult circumstances of the sale which we very much appreciated. Despite to the long probate process which presented a few challenges with the sale and also in turbulent times Cameron consistently kept me updated, chased solicitors etc for us and responded personally and promptly to emails and enquiries. I can highly recommend him and Sue for their professionalism, and friendly not pushy, personal approach and hope they thrive in the Wilmslow area.

Used this company for full management service on a rental property - allowed tenant to use property as HMO and despite checks on property did not notice this or inform me. Failed to take correct deposit from tenant leaving me with a huge bill to make house habitable again. Taken to the property ombudsman and fined for being negligent. Would not recommend them at all

I am extremely grateful for Katie at Umbrella, she has handled the letting of my property with the utmost professionalism, removing all the stress of letting a property. As I am not in the UK she has managed everything from decorating quotes, gas and electrical certificates and even a gardner to ensure property is ship shape and up to high standard for the new tenants. She has taken calls out of office hours ( due to time difference) weekends and when she’s been on leave. Katie has gone above and beyond and restored my faith in letting agents, I know my property is in safe hands with Katie. I would highly recommend Katie and Umbrella!

Along came Umbrella Homes, what a absolute breath of fresh air for Middlewich and the surrounding areas. Dan and his team were extremely knowledgeable of Middlewich and the market. I’d definitely recommend Dan and Umbrella Homes. Dan came round on a Monday to do photos and an amazing video of our home and by Wednesday it was on the market. Their photos and videos are of such a high quality, they really showcase your home. By the Saturday we had about 12 viewings with multiple offers on the same day. Dan spent the whole day at our home showing potential buyers around and kept us updated throughout the day. By the Monday night (a week after taking our photos) we had several offers and accepted an offer by the Tuesday morning. Dan has been a great help throughout the exchange and completion stages, nothing has been too much of an ask. Thanks so much for all your help, you’ve been a pleasure to work with :)

What can I say about Umbrella Homes, they were fantastic from day one with initial contact. Dan took all the stress out of selling our home, he work around us when it came to photos, highly valued our input for the sale brochure and made the day of viewings feel like a normal day with updates on how it was going. Even after we gave instruction and an offer was accepted Dan had us in his mind through all aspects up to and beyond completion day. Yes you might see big names about more but the finesse and personalisation an independent firm like Umbrella Homes can gives is far superior. I can’t recommend Umbrella Homes enough - the experience has been second to none! Dan managed our sale and was excellent from start to finish. The marketing material was great and our house was sold within a week of him first coming out to take photos and video. Dan was there every step of the way, answering any questions and making sure we were up to date throughout and also ensuring everyone else in the process had what they needed and knew what was happening. The developer we were buying our new home from said he was so great to deal with and extremely helpful - a welcome change from the usual estate agents they have to deal with.
