GoogleAfter looking into the property market I cannot recommend Luke Tresize and Jeffrey Ross enough. Having dealt with a few agents while looking for property he has been nothing short of fantastic! His levels of communication are exceptional and has an approach which is totally client focussed, prioritising your best intentions and requirements.

GoogleHad a challenging experience initially due to some misunderstandings and misalignment (which is the reason for the missing star!), but after Luke got involved he did a wonderful job at restoring my confidence and demonstrated the best Jeffrey Ross could offer. I’m grateful for his expertise and excellent communication, and highly recommend working with him.

GoogleThe man who showed me wife and I around a property on Shears Road was uninterested and rude. He dismissive of basic questions regarding the property, evading them by stating that it wasn't his job to know. This put us off the property immediatetly.

GoogleWe have moved a couple of times in Penarth and generally found the other agencies involved in those moves to be good. But I would really caution sellers against using Jeffery Ross. At every stage of the process we found them to be unsatisfactory and, if it hadn't been for the other agents involved in the chain, the sale would not have happened. At our initial viewing, the agent lacked both knowledge and interest in basic information about the house and position of the sellers. But was also rude, not bothering to look up from his phone when we were talking to him. When our offer had been accepted we found them even harder to deal with. Whenever I called our named contact, the phone was unanswered and messages were not returned. Emails went unanswered until we had to explicitly ask for confirmation they had been received and even then we got confirmation the email had been received but no substantive response. We lacked confidence that issues were being raised with the sellers. Our agent and solicitor found them equally difficult to deal with, facing similar issues. On the one occasion they proactively contacted us, it was to ask me for information on the chain and how the sale was progressing. If it hadn't been for the other agents in the chain, the sale wouldn't have happened. I've never written a negative review before but when choosing an estate agent there isn't always a lot to go on and with many other competent agents available in Penarth I felt compelled to caution people against Jeffery Ross who caused so much stress and ultimately would have lost the sale, if it hadn't been for the other agents involved in the chain.

I understand it can be a stressful time moving home, unfortunately we have no control if there are delays in the chain that are beyond our control. I have checked our records as the property completed over 6 weeks ago and no complaint has been registered; our sales staff are valued, very knowledgeable and have worked in the area for 30 years and take pride in everything they do. They are very professional and go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, it doesn’t matter how big or small the problem is it is always solved instantly.
