H & W handled both the sale and…

H & W handled both the sale and purchase. To say the process was tortuous is an undertstatement. However, this was due to legal difficulties further down the chain and H&W did everything possible to ensure that there was a successful outcome. Particular mention must be made of Zoe who worked tirelessly on our behalf and kept us informed at all stages of the process. There were times when it seemed that everything would collapse but due to the professionalism of H&W we had a successful outcome.

Zoe did work tirelessly, often until 7.30pm at night, thanks for recognising her and the team 😊 your review is inspiring and such important feedback, it gives light at the end of the tunnel, house sells often aren’t easy for anyone, least of all the Agent, we got there, albeit touch and go right up to the end. This was a chain of 3, our Sales Manager, Darren had to resell a property in the chain at one stage to keep it together, he deserves a big thank you from us all too.

Well I did email to register with them as I'm looking for accommodation but been nearly two weeks and no reply from them. Funny thing is I'm not surprised as it seems to be the normal with letting agents nowadays.

The Lettings industry has been challenging since COVID and now the living crisis, the Government are taxing landlords on all fronts and many are leaving the industry, which is pushing prices up. Trust you did find a property 😊 …

Wayne and Joe at Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents wholly deserve this five star review. From the initial consultation through to exchange they were prompt, courteous and professional. Of the three local estate agents they valued our house the highest and utilised an 'open house day' method which achieved three offers at full asking price on the very first day! This then achieved an additional bid and acceptance which clearly wouldn't have been possible if it was sold in the traditional manner. We were lucky enough to be able to put an offer on a house that weekend for a house also sold by Wayne, which was accepted. As the only party affected by the stamp duty holiday deadline, we were happy with the service and responses we got throughout the process from Wayne and Joe. We were able to complete within the short window before the stamp duty deadline. If I were ever to move again. I wouldn't hesitate in using Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents services again. This is a really tough review to write…

This is a really tough review to write as all of the issues were caused by Wayne, who has now left the business, and our buyers however I feel that I should share the experience so that H&W understand the impact that it has has on us. If Wayne had still been in the business then this review would have been 1 star however over the last couple of months, Zoe worked tirelessly to try and push through the move. Her honesty was also appreciated and I felt I could trust her which isn't something you can normally say about estate agents!!

Wayne was our Sales Manager and he is not here to defend himself, we therefore cannot comment on specifics. We appreciate the positive area of the review regarding your experience with Zoe, we pride ourselves on honesty and integrity. In the time old tradition we hope that you appreciate that Hythe & Waterside worked on your behalf for the best part of this year, as all estate agents would without any remuneration, and we hope that if you do decide to sale in the future that you will not hesitate to contact us. Unfortunately buyers and sellers circumstances do change, we keep our clients updated and informed so that they can make their own decisions, they can accept those changes in circumstances or opt to find another buyer, or pull out altogether. From the first viewing to completion the staff at Hythe and Waterside were amazing!Zoe could not do enough for me. She worked tirelessly right up until completion. This took much longer than we had anticipated but Zoe was calm and supportive during a very stressful time. Her customer service was outstanding.

Darren has been working with us to sell our home after renting it out for 18 months. We had decided not to rent again after a bad experience but Darren has been excellent, helping us through this and has also found someone who was wanting to rent for a short period of time and after thorough checks we are happy to rent again whilst marketing our home to sell.

A flawless experience

I cannot fault the service of Hythe & Waterside for my recent sale. Wayne was amazing in helping us put the house on the market during a very difficult time. We dealt mostly with Joe pre & post sale and he ensured everything went smoothly and made sure we were kept informed at all times. I would also like to thank the lettings team for all of their help when it was being rented. The entire staff are friendly & professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent service

I bought a house as a buy to let investment from Hythe and Waterside two years ago. I left the house with them to rent out on a fully managed basis. Their service is first class with friendly, helpful staff always on hand to help. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent out a property!
