Being LPA for my mother and living over 100 miles away could not just pop in and sort the house sale out personally. Having not moved home for 15 years the thought was rather daunting. We used Hythe and Waterside to both sell and purchase our properties, the service was exceptional with both Wayne and Joe being readily available for any queries, questions no matter how trivial. I would recomment using them as the service was both professional and hassel free.

After the post stamp duty holiday finished there was a period when the market in Hythe drastically slowed down. Hythe and Waterside (H&W) were very alert to the situation and kept in touch with their clients which was reassuring for us. Eventually a property that matched our requirements came on the market and we had a very quick response from H&W, we viewed it, liked it and made an offer that was accepted. During the long waiting process of getting the legal requirements in place H&W kept us informed of the position by liaising with all parties involved which we appreciated. Finally a sigh of relief as we have exchange contracts and I think we can thank H&W for pushing this through. H&W's overall performance was very professional and give 100%. The H&W Sales Team also have a good sense of humour, something needed in this particular business sector.

A H-U-G-E thanks to Wayne & Joe for their tireless work on out our recent despite some crazy challenges including a national conveyancer getting hacked and shutting down for 2 weeks! "Just hang in there" they said, and boy were they right. They also did an amazing job weeding out the tyre kickers. So glad we didn't opt for one of the lower-priced online options where you have to show people around yourselves. Hythe & Waterside were extremely professional, extremely diligent, easily covered their fee and then some, a very wise investment on our part, we achieved far more than we expected.Let's hope we can find a Wayne and Joe in Devon where we are moving to should we even need to move again in the distant future.

Excellent service! A long standing tenant recently left my rental property, Elizabeth and the team were all amazing at appointing contractors to handle refurbishments, re-letting the property very quickly and handling the check in and check out very efficiently. As a landlord it's really important to have a company you can trust and H&W really deliver on all levels.

The apartment did not meet our criteria, however, from the moment we met Darren he promised that he would find a rental property that ticked all of our boxes. Not a brilliant first attempt. We felt that H&W were only concerned with keeping our buyers happy. Our property was initially undersold which we would of lived with. The final straw was a particularly unsettling telephone conversion with H&W which resulted in our pulling out. With a change of consultant we stayed with them and things did improve.

Dear Ms SmithWe are naturally disappointed that you felt that your first experience with H&W did not meet expectations. This is very unusual, our Vendors and Landlords are very complimentary about our service, hence our ‘excellent 4.9 TP score’. As you will appreciate, since we came out of lockdown ‘Sales’ has been extremely busy with people relocating ‘South’, this has led to prices increasing dramatically on a sliding timescale, it takes traditionally 3 months for a sale to complete and inevitably during this unusual period, prices may change, it is usually taken that each house within a chain will have increased in price too. You pointed out to us that you thought your house had been undersold, it’s price May have increased out of the blue, however when you pointed it out, H&W staff immediately addressed your thinking and a sale was agreed at a higher price. A happy ending to a sometimes unpleasant set of extenuating circumstances, changes implemented well by H&W, all was not lost.Whilst writing we thank you for your review and for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns. We have recently let a house through Hythe and Waterside. We had changed Agents due to a bad experience with our former tenant and Agent. Darren was extremely careful to ensure that the new tenant was carefully matched to our property and was in place very quickly. An external agency is used to conduct the inventory which is extremely detailed and unbiased. Darren went above and beyond the level of service we would have expected which was so useful as we live quite a distance from the property. He even undertook a maintenance issue himself to help us out. Would really recommend using them.

After losing our father in the first lock down to covid 19 the daunting task to market his well-loved home was put into the hands of Wayne and Joe at Hythe Waterside from the start we had no pressure to market his home immediately only asked to keep them updated, when we eventually put the property on the market Wayne and joe were professional throughout keeping us updated on viewings and on feedback securing an offer and guiding us through the sales process, no questions unanswered and more than happy to help where they could. If you are thinking of selling or purchasing, make Hythe and waterside the first-place can't praise them highly enough always a smile from that little lad Joe
