Hythe & Waterside have been the letting agents for my cottage in Hythe since I decided to let it back in 2010. In the intervening years the property has never been empty for more than a few weeks. Following a 6 week void over the summer (the longest ever) the property is now re-let to just my 3rd tenant in 7 years.Hythe & Waterside have always offered good advice and do an excellent job managing both the day to day property maintenance issues that inevitably arise, keeping on top of and advising me in relation to annual recurring activities like safety checks and especially in dealing with the more complex issues that arise during the transfer of tenancies.My thanks to all of the team at Hythe & Waterside for a job well done over many years and yes, I do recommend them.

Poor service. Trusted with a key to take pictures of the house, then showed clients around the house and without permission and without the property even being on the market. Rang to discuss and complain and got told we would get a call back before the end of the day. No phone call made and then voicemail reached to say office was closed. It's a shame as this was the preferred option as a local independent agents. Perhaps just an oversight on their behalf, however left a bitter taste for us.

We made the right choice!! After a lot of deliberating we chose to go with Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents and I am glad that we did. From initial conversation to finally getting the keys to our new house we found Richard and Wayne a delight to deal with. The main thing I liked about them was their honesty. They told us the truth, not just what they thought we wanted to hear. They found us the perfect house and we had an offer accepted before it even hit Rightmove. Our house sold for the asking price within a couple of weeks of being listed. If you want someone who will chase your chain, tell you the truth and actively hunt for a buyer/seller, then look no further than Richard and Wayne. We will definitely use them again and would encourage friends and family to contact them as well. Thank you guys! We love our new home!
