GoogleWe liked what we saw, the mix of house styles is nice, the layout seems not too built up. The Hopkin show home is a town house, 3 bed, which was nice. We're now considering the town, schools, and size of the estate, which is going to be big, 5000 homes

They have gone the extra mile to ensure that our home is truly up to our preferences and liking. A special mention to the promptness in responding to all queries I had in relation to the property. Update: FYI - All the details were provided but no one was interested in reaching out. It is very distressing that Hopkins are refusing to change our faulty front door which was already assessed and agreed as faulty. I am also finding their Complaint Customer Service borderline rude and definitely more interested to save their own money rather ensuring the customer receives the quality promised at the time of purchase. We found out that our long list of issues who were due to "be resolved " by site manager have not even been passed/mentioned to the legacy manager who took over as they closed the site down now. Basically everything would need to be assessed again and then looked into to see if it's something Hopkins will sort. Shocking! Although we moved into the house at the end of October 2023, there is an incredible amount of issues still outstanding to be fixed without us being given any dates for the repairs: damaged front door, windows, light, cracked window sill, attick, rattling pipes in the bathroom and 1 bedroom and BUGS infestation etc. Apparently the bugs infestation is not even covered by the Hopkins warranty like it would be normal to buy a new house already "inhabited". Customer Services must have a competition on who provides the worst service and it's the same experience our neighbours also have unfortunately.

My experience as a first time buyer with Hopkins at Mill Grove has been a positive one. Jenna from the sales team has been very helpful and accommodating in answering my questions and taking me through visits to the site so I could see and influence the build as it has been progressing. It has been invaluable to me as a first time buyer to have the support of Jenna and her team to take me through the process (including a helpful guide to the house itself which was provided at the reservation stage) and clarify any queries as they have arisen. I look forward to moving into my new property soon.

After living in a Hopkins Home for 1.5 years we are a bit disappointed given its price in the market. Primarily it’s the lack of storage space potential in small rooms, unusable loft, uncreative understairs and normal living needs like where to put your washing don’t seem to have been thought through. We have thin walls and so the house is always noisy even when trying to be quiet!. Also the after sales has not been great in our experience. Air vents were not fitted at the build time in two rooms so were added but never finished of correctly though we have asked several times. The outside drain more than three metres from our property is constantly flooding in rain and this has still not been addressed 1.5 years later. Also some cars drive too fast on this estate and having asked for speed reminders to help as it’s a family estate there has been no response. So for us, not the best experience.

We recently moved from Clacton on Sea to the River Reach development here in Mistley.We first made contact with Clare Canning @ Hopkins Homes, Mistley development in August 2022 to discuss a possible move from our flat in Clacton. We are now in October 2023 and we are now sitting in our dream home.Clare has been a complete star throughout the whole process. She was always there to take our calls and answer any questions we might have had. We visited her at the development a number of times to view the house being built, even when we didn't even have a buyer for our current property, she was always happy to show us around. Thank you Clare.We would also like to say thank you to Katherine Gant who was also there to see us through the process. Again, she called us to give us help and advice. Thank you Katherine.Since moving in we've been more than happy with the house. Trevor the onsite developement manager has already been to see us to double check that everything is ok. It's very reassuring to know that the team are still there when you've completed, just in case there is anything outstanding or unsure of.Overall, the whole experience with the Mistley Team has been excellent. I would recommend Hopkins Homes to anyone who may be interested. We are over the moon with our new house. The Mistley development is beautiful.Thank you Team!

From the very first enquiry Brandon at Melbourn made us feel welcome and supported in our decision. Nothing was too much trouble! From ensuring we were looked after whilst he was away, to making sure we were updated every step of the way and even allowed access for measuring before we'd moved in, Brandon was and remains a delight to deal with, and we'll miss seeing him around the site.Overall we are extremely pleased with the quality of Hopkins Homes builds in Melbourn. We've never owned a new build before and you hear some horror stories, thankfully none of which we have encountered! Nor have our neighbours on the site. We were lucky enough to meet a few people when we were looking at the property who recommended the homes and had positive reviews of customer care and snagging team.Speaking of which Stuart the site manager has been fantastic, we have direct contact and nothing has been too much trouble. The 21 day snagging check came around and we are very pleased to say that the snaggs are incredibly minor, but have and are being dealt with promptly and professionally.We've been in our home for just over 6 weeks now and we couldn't be happier that we chose Hopkins Homes. A massive thank you to everyone involved in our purchase, keep up the excellent work.

At first, they will do anything to make you feel comfortable so you can buy the property. After purchase the attitude of customer service throughout is a mess and they do not care. Customer care they think they are experts in house build, which they are definitely not as many contractors with years of experience behind their back who attended our home did point out issues which was not considered a problem to customer care from Hopkins Homes. Broken promises one after another. Also, have a look of their responses at these trustpilot reviews, this tells a lot about the company . They do not focus on the issue itself, but talk b*****it and they feel sorry. I feel sorry for the people who work in customer care, as they seem pathetic, taking on a role with no character. Probably it suits their personality.

We knew we wanted a Hopkins Home when we first viewed one back in March this year and having been in our new home for 6 weeks now we know we made the right decision. The house itself is all we hoped it would be finished to high standard and everyone we've dealt with at Hopkins Homes has been great. All the way through the viewings and purchase process Ellie has been really kind and so helpful and knowledgeable. And Dan the deputy site manager has also been friendly and absolutely determined that any issues however minor (and the only issues we've had have been a small number of very minor ones) are perfected. I can thoroughly recommend Hopkins Homes for all aspects of their design, build quality and customer service.

We bought a house at Kingley Grove, Melbourn and the whole process was made easier by having Brandon guiding us, which made it less stressful. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble, it was a pleasure dealing with him. We love the house and the style and layout of the estate and are enjoying living in Melbourn. We have had a few snags which have been dealt with efficiently by Stuart, Site Manager and his team. He has been really helpful and easy to approach when we have had a problem.

We bought our first home together on Alconbury Weald in Cambridgeshire. Mandy in sales was beyond helpful and explained every step perfectly. Well… where do I start? I can not praise Hopkins Homes - Mill Grove Stowmarket enough. Most especially Will Selfe and Olivia Haldin. These two lovely consultants have made my journey of finding and moving into my dream home a seamless and beautiful reality.At the beginning stages, Will was so patient and so kind with me including throughout the process of picking and choosing the bits I needed to make my home amazing. He explained everything I needed to know, kept my posted through the building stages and responded to all my questions. At the later stages, Olivia was equally as patient and supportive, making sure I was kept updated throughout and is so personable and responsive. The quality of finish of Hopkins homes is second to none!!! The attention to detail and swiftness to responses is also commendable. The site management team, James and Ben have been ever so helpful and so accommodating. I want to seize this platform again as another opportunity to say thank you!!!!!!!!!

It is well-known that this company builds quality homes, but I want to highlight the quality of their staff in the purchase process.I unexpectedly fell ill during the period of the initial 6-week reservation contract and feared I would lose the home I wanted. But although the company works to a clear and strict timetable (for the benefit of both parties), they were willing to extend this and we are now working toward an exchange of contracts in the very near future. Lauren Adams from the sales team has been especially helpful since my first contact. She is a brilliant ambassador for Hopkins Homes.

I feel very upset to be reviewing this company but feel i need to to try and help other people not to make the same mistake.I bought my home in 2020 and i am still waiting for my snags to be completed.I have been in touch with the customer care department so many times and even had the manager out to my home twice who asked me to trust her this was almost 12 months ago.I was told there would be no point in me trying to contact anyone higher than her as it would be passed back to her.This company is absolutely disgusting.When you walk into the sales office they will tell you everything you want to hear.When they get your money they will not want to know about the problems you have with your house.My advice is to not buy from them.Heartbreaking when you work so hard to buy your dream home.
