GoogleDon't buy from them. They don't want to know you after you've bought from them. We had a snagging list made by someone in the trade, and a few issues were identified and acknowledged by Hopkins site manager. It was mentioned work could only be done on Fridays and preferably afternoons were possible. This was no problem according to that site manager as we are the customer and paid good money. Site manager changed and suddenly we were told by Hopkins office that we had to provide access to the house whenever it suited them. Complete opposite of what we were told before. Currently a lot of the houses that have been build start to show issues with the patio doors. The latch is not locking properly. Hopkins once again doesn't want to know because we're out of the 2 year period. The snagging list we made back when we bought the house pointed out the warped patio doors, but this was within the allowances according to Hopkins. Funny that most houses build in that period now start to show the exact same problems. Hopkins doesn't want to know because the supplier of the doors allegedly has gone bust. Numerous people complain about this issue within the kingsfleet Facebook group. Next house I buy definitely won't be a Hopkins home.

Mandy was welcoming, friendly and professional, making the buying process a smooth and enjoyable experience. We are thrilled with the quality of the build and the location (Alconbury Weald). Cam the Assistant Site Manager was also very helpful in the final build stages following up on any small snags and queries we had with a fast turnaround.

Regardless of the outcome, her support with Dad has been exceptional, and it’s made a real difference to how we feel about the process. In fact, thanks to her help, my partner and I are now seriously considering purchasing our first home at Kingsfleet. It’s such a lovely and ideal location, and Lacie’s professionalism, kindness and familiarity have only strengthened our interest in making it our future home ☺️

GoogleHopkins Homes, and more specifically Lacie, have been fab! As new buyers we felt very out of our depth, but Lacie guided us throughout the process, and answered all queries we had, no matter how small. She would respond quickly to calls and emails, and was always super accommodating to our requests! Even after completion, she has continued to support us where she can ☺️

Mill Grove Development (Stowmarket)Positives:The purchasing experience was smooth, and everything up until completion was easy.Negatives:A total of 60 snags, with some major snags that still after 4 months have not been addressed. Continually having to chase the team, and tradespeople are either not showing up, or not completing the work to a satisfactory standard, so we need multiple visits to clear any problems.We also haven't been given any timeline for when issues are going to be resolved and not informed of when tradespeople will show up.

This is by far the best house builder I’ve bought from…. and guess what I had a serious problem but the after sales team were incredible!!! GoogleTerrible experience with customer service. Have been trying to get an issue sorted with noisy guttering since April and are still no further ahead, are now having to have our entire en-suite ripped out and redone because of a sitewide issue with the bathroom installations, and to top it off the bit of road right infront of our drive is being dug up meaning we can’t leave our drive and we weren’t even informed! Not happy at all.

We are so happy in our home built by Hopkins Homes. I would not want to buy a home from any other housing developer. The homes are spacious and well built, the customer service after purchase is beyond fantastic. Every little thing we reported as a snag (there wasn't much!) was fixed immediately and Jack went above and beyond to get things fixed. I would highly rate Hopkins Homes to anyone, they are the best in the business! Thank you for building our dream home!

We chose the Hopkins Homes development for a number of reasons.. The design of the property we bought. The ability to choose fixtures and fittings within the property.. The price of the property and value for money.. The location of the development was what we were looking for, on the edge of a small town, within walking distance of local amenities and close to the coast.The Hopkins Homes team were very helpful throughout the buying process. On completion and occupation of our property, the on site team have been great. Any snagging issues listed by us during the first three weeks, we're dealt with very quickly. Inparticular, the Deputy Site Manager John, has been exceptional with support, help and advice throughout.Thankyou Tanya & Jeff.
