A pleasure to deal with after the various false starts and promises experienced elsewhere. We are buying the only bungalow on the Indigo fields site Lavenham my wife and I are looking forward very much to moving in and starting the next step in our life . Jan our sales consultant has been very helpful and has tried to accommodate our requests to view our bungalow on a very busy phase of of our bungalow development. We have viewed our bungalow twice and are looking forward to meeting Jan on Saturday to visit bungalow for mass measuring up session and seeing progress in the bungalow . We think the bungalow has been built to traditional buildings methods and at a high standard , having been in the building industry for over 50 years before retiring can appreciate the solid built building we are moving into.Thank you Jane for all you have done in making our dream come true regards George & Rosemary Hitchin

I moved into my new home in the middle of May 2021 at Mill Grove after a relatively painless process, in the main, thanks to the Hopkins on-site representative Jacqui Spicer. The house was immaculately presented, with quality fittings throughout and beautifully decorated. I’ve looked at several Hopkins developments, all of which seem to get a nice variety of houses in interesting and mixed layouts. Jason, the site agent has been very helpful in his advice and help to get the best out of the property.

Excellent service from Ann. She worked hard for Hopkins to enable me to reserve, as I had a chain. Everyone in the chain were required to have applied for searches. No discounts or incentives offered by Hopkins unlike all other developers at Alcobury Weald.

If you want something is very very very slow. Don't buy extras , use your own Solicitor not one from their list. Only rated as 1 star as nothing lower.

Appalling customer care post purchase. Trying to get knocking water pipes resolved on £300k new build at Butterfield Meadow in Hunstanton. Issue first identified in September 2020. Two visits by a Hopkins appointed plumber to attempt to rectify, pipes still knocking at start of May 2021. Two months since last plumber visit so chased up with customer care to request an action plan by a given date. Told no further attempts at fixing would be made as we were abusing the taps by turning them on to fast. Unbelievable response. Given the choice again with other plumbing issues we have had we would never buy another Hopkins home.

I cannot recommend Alison Swain, Sales Consultant at Thurston Park, Thurston, highly enough. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the site and the properties, but friendly and efficient throughout the reservation process. I feel confident that Alison will be there throughout the forthcoming Purchase Process to assist and guide.

Without a doubt the worst company i have ever dealt with. Not sure if they are incredibly disorganised or deliberately awkward to avoid having to do remedial work. Some of their houses are OK, but if you have problems prepare to fight for everything and wait months to get the simplest of jobs completed. Customer care is far from caring!In the past Hopkins Homes were good builders but in my opinion the are now run by accountants and are more concerned with building large quantities whatever it takes so they get their bonus. We bought from plan - worst mistake of my life. They knew it was sold so didn't care about the quality. Interestingly this year there are so many good reviews for Hopkins, sometimes 3 or 4 a day and on consecutive days. Look back to 2020 reviews and the balance of good / bad is considerably different, and there are far fewer each day. Some people might find this rather suspicious!

We bought our home in November 2020, we couldn’t be happier with our purchase, the quality of the house is first class and the community within the complex has been excellent and really helped us settle. The sales process with Alison was a pleasurable experience as well as very professional. The after care we have received from the site manager John and his team has also been first class. Before, during and post our move, both John and Alison have been awesome and have continued with their friendly and genuine interest in seeing that we are settled well. They are both an asset to Hopkins Homes.
