Moved in on the 27th September to Forster Park in Stevenage. New development and our home is a part of phase 1. Both Abdul and Helen (numbers 1&2) have been amazing in helping us with all of our worries and troubles. Granted, there were a few snags that were picked up on the home demonstration, however, these have all been booked in to be fixed/have been fixed prior to completion.We started our process with Abdul looking for our first home back in May 2024. We had no idea what we needed to do and he guided us all the way through to completion as well as assisting to ensure the solicitor and mortgage broker had all of the paperwork (very swiftly too I might add!). Helen (1) was amazing in pushing the site to ensure that during the build, we had access to view at anytime (I think that is very important!) and had our interests at the forefront, answering every question and if not knowing, finding out the answer and letting us know very quickly.Josh our onsite contact for the build has been great in helping us to understand any changes and assist us in making sure all snags are booked in and fixed. He has helped both my partner and I, and gone above and beyond to helping us make it not just a house but our home.My Fiance and I cannot thank these four enough for all the help, questions and dealing with our nagging over the last few months. We are so so so happy in our new home! Side note - looking forward for the main road outside of our house to be completed as at the moment they use it for plant to get to the other side of site. Not the best for our car as it's low, but also understand why it has not been completed. Hoping for it to be done soon so I am not driving up and down through potholes!

In a time when, in my opinion, customer service is mediocre at best, what a refreshing surprise to come across someone such as Helen, who works at the Highstone Hill estate in Hamilton.She was informative, had a wide knowledge of the local area, schools, amenities, etc., and was genuinely welcoming and very friendly, putting my wife and I at ease. From the first day of looking at options until the day I received the keys for my house, Lindsey has been such a great help. She guided me through the the process and kept in regular contact throughout. Lindsey and the site managers, Chris and Jason met with me during the process for progress meetings and also showed me around the house before the sale was finalised which was really helpful. After the purchase was completed, Lindsey and Jason have kept in contact going an extra mile making sure I was happy with my new home. Following my move, I had a privilege of a further visit from the regional aftercare team manager also visiting. The whole experience was fantastic. I will highly recommend Bishops Walk Durham to anyone looking to buy a new home. Frances

over 120 snags / defects on the property I bought from miller homes levels on drive way wrong , manhole flagged over , rear fence knocked down , guttering falling off , chips out of pvc patio doors and windows , soil pipe not insulated the list is endless and don’t even think because you have nhbc warranty this is just complete rubbish nhbc rely on house builders so they will protect them shocking company I would get professional snagging company in to check your property before signing anything , mine was so bad they got in a defect company ( who broke my double wardrobe still not been paid for )shocking management crap customer service , terrible company avoid at all costs

I have been very impressed with the customer service provided, the support provided throughout the process, has been incredibly helpful, walking me through it from start to expected finish. I never felt rushed, they ensured I understood every step and happily answered my numerous questions with patience! Any questions I had that required additional clarification from a manager or the site manager were dealt with quickly and i was kept in the loop throughout.A thorough walk through of the plans allowed me to envisage where all the essentials would be and make any possible amends as needed

We have spoken to Tim today at the start of our journey as homebuyers and he couldn't be more accommodating, we were shown around the show home with full explanation of specs and upgrades available, we were even permitted on to the building site to view the houses in there building phases to get a feel for the sizes and dimensions rather than just going off of plans on paper.
