GoogleNot a single viewing in 3 months...... no phone calls. no contact.. terrible really. when i called as a mystery shopper they were very happy to promote all their other properties in Laindon and described mine as "price is dropping as little interest on that one" ... that was it ...

Googleawful, they are not bothered about the landlords properties as they are not willing to wait 5 min longer for a client. The don't do views after 4.45.

GoogleWorst estate agent ever ! Put the rent up every year and given reason why like how they will improve your property been waiting 6 months for these improvements that have never happened. Your property manager never answers the phone unless it benefits them. They never fix anything ! I've been living in my property nearly 2 years and not once have a property inspection yet they charge the landlord saying they do it. Just rubbish and rude can't wait to move out mine so I don't have to deal with them again

GoogleI signed with Hilbery Chaplin for rental flat May 2016. I must firstly commend on excellent customer service of Trish - kept me updated, answered any queries regarding contract signing, thoughtful 'welcome' giftbag. Robert, very good - from contact call to viewing property. Dan, very good (inspection agent), quick to respond to repairs or issues that were over-looked by them or ongoing. My biggest concern & disappointment lies with tenant (s), who reside on same floor level as myself. These tenants are 'heavy' smokers..In no exaggeration, when they smoke in their flat, smell lingers in corridor & enters my flat via front door (space below & side) for hours /days. Smoke smell so unbearable, that you have constantly keep 'airing' your flat, times when I've had open door leading on flats level, which also serves exit out or to other floors or open window on exit stairs. These tenants could easily smoke on their balcony (every flat in building has one), plus I've seen other tenants do this on other floors. I have made complaint property management, only response is 'they'll investigate', but nothing has been done by them. Hilbery Chaplin has written that there is nothing they can do, as owners entitled to smoke in their flat, unless their is clause in their contract prohibiting... This act is (1) hazadous health (2) Unfair tenants 'non-smokers', should be expected to accommodate this as normal (3) There is no set standards upkept by property management on this or overall cleaniness of tenants residing in building.. Sadly for my health & peace of mind, I have decided I will need relocate elsewhere when my contract ends.

GoogleI will recommend this Letting Agents to anyone, the staff are absolutely fantastic and professional. Trish is a wonderful woman nothing was ever too much, she went through everything in detail and assured us to feel free to contact her if we were unsure of anything. If your looking for somewhere to call home then this is the place to start. My mum also received a wonderful welcome Gift bag.

FacebookCan highly recommend Hilbery Chaplin, Ingatestone. We have sold our house through them with completion this Friday. Thoroughly professional from start to finish with a friendly personal attitude towards us something that is very lacking in a lot of professions in this day. They handled the viewings for us and always gave feed back very quickly.

Googledreadful. They sent a letter on behalf of their client and when I raised genuine issues threatened to charge me extra for a response to resolve the matter. They are a no win no fee company and just harrass to get money

GoogleWhilst I wanted to fight these parasites who had been employed by their client, for a disputed property charge of £420 for a clean of a washing machine. Yes a washing machine in property that my girlfriend rented. My girlfriend just paid up and wouldn't allow me.. Which I think was a ridiculous amount to pay.
