GoogleI have dealt with Henry Adams in Haywards Heath for a few years now and always find them excellent to work with. Everyone in the office is very personable and their communication levels are very high which I find very important. They offer everything I would expect and need when selling or renting my property.

GoogleI have recently let a house through Henry Adams. I have found them to be extremely professional and also very helpful. They found me good trades people and often liaised with them on my behalf. They gave service over and above what I had expected. Melissa was always friendly and efficient and made the process as stress free as possible. I can't recommend them highly enough.

GoogleHenry Adams have managed our property for the last 3 years and they have always been professional, friendly, reliable and kind. They have always given a thorough service when dealing with end of tenancy cleaning, decorating and repairs. They take care to get things right, using trusted contractors. They have taken very good care of our home and the tenants who occupy it. We have been very pleased with the service we have received and would highly recommend Henry Adams and the wonderful staff! GoogleI have been very impressed with Henry Adams in Horsham who handled the sale of my house, they were very professional and arranged many viewings with high quality prospective buyers, the marketing of the property was very impressive and the communications with both Nick and Sam was superb. I would definitely use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them. Well done.

GoogleWe have just exchanged and it’s taken 7 months purely due to unavoidable intracacies. From start to exchange Jo and her colleagues have been patient and worked brilliantly and professionally facilitating the solicitors, vendors’ and our needs each step of the way. (Often beyond the call of duty). I would highly recommend this branch of Henry Adams!

GoogleThis was our first time buying a home in the UK, which was a very different procedure to what we were used to. But Dan was amazing, so friendly, knowledgable and always keen to help. Although our chain was simple, there were still a few challenges (some due to our naivety), but Dan dealt with the barrage of questions, and the odd curve ball, all in his stride. Looking forward to our move in a week's time and a wonderful life in our 'forever home'. Thanks Dan!

GoogleI found Henry Adams to be most helpful in every way. In fact they were more helpful than my Solicitors with finding out dates etc. We bought this house from them and that is why we chose to sell it through them. I think Dan will be glad to see the back of me because I was always on the phone to him and he was always there to answer my questions.

GoogleFrom the initial phone call booking the viewing to exchanging of contracts, Henry Adams in Billingshurst have been amazing! As a bit of a clueless first time buyer Jo has been so patient explaining every step of the way in detail and replying to my emails and phone calls extremely quickly. Jo, Dan & Penny have been so friendly and helpful and I am so happy we have found a house through them. Thank you all!

GoogleEstate Agents... They by no means should be letting properties they are not letting agents. They let us a property that had been left in a disgusting state from the previous tenant. Promised things worked when we moved in and they actually didn’t... Send tradesman out to carry out essential work that seem to take weeks to get hold of and then they lie and say they can’t turn up or do an appalling job and stain my jacket with sealant. Absolutely awful... I know you can’t really pick your letting agents and it’s all about the property but if you are interested in a property that Henry Adams is letting I would seriously considering thinking twice about it. There are plenty of great reviews on here and yes I’m sure they are great from a landlord perspective because they save them so much money not carrying out essential work on properties and not really managing the properties correctly.

GoogleWe have had such a great experience using Henry Adams in Storrington for the sale of our house. Ben has a fantastic team there who were friendly, professional, courteous, efficient and lovely people to deal with. They were great at keeping us informed with phone calls and emails at every stage which was really helpful. We were fortunate to have Christina dealing with our sale who was a complete star - extremely efficient, always on the ball and an absolute pleasure to deal with...she went above and beyond and we are very grateful. GoogleAbsolutely awful for lettings! Very unprofessional and unhelpful. Surprising as the Midhurst branch are completely the opposite! Seriously consider renting with other local companies such as Williams who are brilliant.

GoogleIf you can rent through anyone else, I strongly recommend you do. I recently ended a tenancy through Henry Adams, and the way which which the return of my deposit was handled was scandalous. Quotes for cleaning and garden maintenance that were provided were more than double the going rate, and when I asked for a breakdown of the costs, they refused to provide them. (When i subsequently provided alternative quotes, they insisted on having the quotes broken down... one rule for one.....) I have had to take the legal route to recover my money. The most unreasonable local company it has ever been my displeasure to deal with. Please save your time and money and look elsewhere for your property needs. Only providing a 1 star rating as there isn't an option for zero or negative stars.

Please rest assured all deposits are fully protected in a Government Scheme and in the event a tenant is unhappy with any proposed deductions there is an independent dispute resolution. We always try and resolve any disputes without the need for dispute resolution but do have to follow set procedures and the evidence on each occasion.

GoogleMe and my partner have just rented a property for the first time and we dealt with Clair from the Petersfield branch, she was great and kept us up to date with every stage of the process. It can be quite a stressful thing to do for the first time but Clair and her team made it a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend! :D

GoogleWell, it's a good job I don't treat my clients the way Henry Adams Petersfield has my parents - a service based business shouldn't have anything less than 4 and 5 stars. They are the epitome of the estate agent stereotype, they don't advocate for you as a client, and are genuinely rude. The communication was extremely poor throughout and their fee is high, considering they do nothing for it. Henry Adams in Midhurst seem fine, so hopefully this is an isolated issue where the staff think it's appropriate to bad mouth other businesses and even their own franchises. We had poor offers and they were rude and pushy when we weren't willing to take it. Now we won't work with them no matter what. This is the first negative review I've ever left, as I don't do it on principle, but there really isn't any reason to use them. Bournes have been very professional and understanding, and their staff seem to have at least spent 20 minutes googling good sales techniques and best practices. No, they haven't sold the house either. Don't give them business when it is easily avoided.

Nothing was too much trouble in him attending to let in builders etc for estimates, even after exchange. On the ball. Polite. Efficient. Gets things done. A real joy.
