I would like to give a massive thank you to Sam Shackleton for helping myself and my partner find our first home. Over the last 6 months he has consistently kept us updated and pushed for everything that we have asked for - along with being a kind and genuine individual that just wants the best for his clients, buyer or seller. After initially losing out on the house in the beginning, we asked for first refusal if it ever fell through, and felt very dignified that he kept his word a month later - our offer was accepted in a matter of hours. I would highly recommend Henderson and Connellan! As a first time buyer, Sam really put me at ease. He kept me updated at all stages and answered all my silly questions. He was professional and approachable from start to finish and made the whole process of buying a house relatively stress free. Sam is efficient and works at a really high standard. Rented a property, year tenancy rather than 6 months, was freshly painted when moved in, within 2-3months rising damp and mould everywhere, have had 4 lung infections and 6 chest infections since moving in and reported everything but they just don't care, been staying in hotels as I can't do another night there but not allowed to terminate tenancy. Rented a property through Henderson connellan and I have to say one of the worst experience I've ever had with a letting company, would not recommend, the boiler packed in a took 2 weeks to get it fixed, this was during the beast from the east and all the could say was you have a gas fire and electric shower, I froze for those 2 weeks.
