GoogleI’m extremely disappointed with the way this estate agent has handled a serious safety issue in my rented property. My back door has been drilled shut, leaving it unusable as an exit. This creates a major fire safety risk, yet I’ve been left in this situation for now 4 days and have been advised it will take another 2, 3 weeks with little urgency shown to resolve it. Despite repeatedly raising the concern, action has been delayed, and now the repair is being held up further while they seek additional quotes. While I understand the need for due process, it’s incredibly frustrating that cost considerations appear to be taking priority over the safety of someone living in the property. A blocked exit in a home is not a minor inconvenience, it’s a basic safety issue that should be addressed immediately. As a tenant, I expect the property to be safe and for serious hazards to be treated with urgency. I hope the agency reflects on how situations like this are handled in the future and prioritises tenant safety over prolonged delays.

As soon as you reported the issue, we contacted a locksmith to arrange a visit as quickly as possible, the Locksmith attended the same day and a new part was required to remedy the problem, multiple suppliers were contacted but the part was not in stock and it transpires is no longer available. The best solution was the installation of new doors, a contractor was instructed, visited, provided a quotation and the Landlord gave authority for the repair in less than 4 days. Whilst we appreciate the seriousness of the situation, we are reliant on the availability of contractors to visit to provide a quotation, authority from the Landlord and the manufacture / supply and installation of new doors.

GoogleWhat a wonderful experience during what was otherwise a very stressful time. Everyone at Henderson Connellan was incredibly attentive, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. Sam is hands down the best estate agent I have ever worked with. From start to finish he showed nothing but care and attention, especially as our move became quite complicated. He went far beyond normal expectations, always reassuring, incredibly patient, and he handled the chain superbly well. His experience and calm approach made a huge difference when things became stressful. Communication from the team was first class. Sam was always available to answer questions and in some cases even responded out of hours, which really showed how dedicated he is to his clients. I genuinely wouldn’t look anywhere else in the future. The whole team at Henderson was a pleasure to deal with, James, Sam, Daniel, Amy and Poppy were all amazing. Everyone was friendly, efficient and clearly worked together to make the process as smooth as possible. They are also incredibly quick and diligent. My property was photographed on Thursday afternoon and was sold by the following Thursday, which honestly exceeded all expectations. A huge thank you again to Sam. We secured our dream move and couldn’t have done it without him. He single-handedly took so much of the pain and stress out of moving house. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

GoogleI have been so impressed with Henderson Connellan. I was selling a property in probate so it was emotional for me and the team has been compassionate from our first discussion. There was no hard sell and they were happy to give me time to decide. A particular shout out to Abby Adams who was instrumental in getting the sale completed - it was a long drawn out process due to others in the chain and I honestly think without her tenacious approach it would have fallen through. I hadn’t expected the estate agents to be actively involved beyond securing a buyer but they really do support you all through the process. A big thank you for making an emotional time much easier. I would whole heartedly recommend them.

GoogleGreat help with purchasing our new house. Very accommodating allowing us multiple viewings to measure up prior to moving. Always available to call or text and always gave a fast reply. As our house was a brand new build there were a few issues we noticed after we moved in and Jack helped resolve them for us even after the sale had gone through.
