Nicholas Humphries are genuinely one of the worst letting agents I have ever come across. As a student, myself and my house mates felt severely let down by the terrible service we received from Shelly and the rest of the Nottingham branch. It took several months to fix an electrical hazard, failing to ensure the landlord fixes the issue in a timely and sensible manner. This was also known as an issue with the previous tenants and was just brushed over, as it was the landlords choice to not fix it, failing to ensure the property was adequate to live in. This was only eventually fixed once further action was mentioned. This shows a big disregard for the safety of their tenants and lack of maintenance care and standards and overall ignorance of the company. Furthermore the standard and condition of the house we were in, and several of their other houses rented out to friends and peers is unacceptable , with constant mold growing and dodgy repairs and cover ups. If you’re a student in Nottingham avoid Nicholas Humphries at all costs as they are a nightmare and a shambles of a letting agency!

GoogleWhen I tried the famous SA model, it flopped big time and the disappointment led me to approach Hall and Benson for a decent AST rescue approach. Katie at the Alfreton branch took roughly 10 days from onboarding to full tenancy agreement signed.
I'm impressed with the entire process plus service levels and would highly recommend for anyone in similar situation. Sure there would be a few more properties coming off SAs in the next few weeks.

A few weeks later Corey phoned me and persuaded me to let them value it (other valuer no longer employed by them) . His charm, tenacity and honesty won him the sale and I have been very pleased with the service received. It's not been an easy process (not their fault) but Corey has kept on top of everything and got me the full asking price. Would definitely use again. Highly recommended
