GoogleI cannot speak more highly about Gowland and White. We sold our first home with them in 2004 and then most recently sold our family home with them. We live in Australia so the process was a bit more tricky than usual in terms of communication with time differences. But they were always very responsive when any messages were sent during Uk business hours. Emma and Tanya in particular were fabulous, we had several issues that arose during the period of selling, and also of course a pandemic which put a hold on any movement. But as soon as they were able to the viewings commenced and a buyer was secured. I can’t thank them enough for their patience and reassurance during what was a very stressful time. Gowland White helped enormously with all of the team demonstrating the perfect balance of personal and professional behavior, which they maintained despite the COVID challenge. I also used their recommended solicitors who were efficient and very competitive on fees. Full marks to Gowland on pricing, efficiency and the personal touch.

GoogleWe cannot speak highly enough about Gowland & White, Stockton on Tees. They managed the sale of my late Mother's property with extreme care and courtesy every step of the way. They showed prospective buyers around the house without me having to keep attending, which would have been quite an upsetting experience for me. They kept me informed of all interested parties and gave me feedback after every viewing. Overall i would highly recommend them to anyone considering selling or buying a property.

Our house was on the market for over a year, but still they didn’t know basic information about our property when showing potential buyers round. That’s when they even showed them around, most of the time we had to do it ourselves as they “were too busy”.The icing on the cake? When we came to take our house off the market with them, they charged us £120 for the privilege despite our house being on the market for over a year. When we took out our contract with them, they failed to mention this which I’m told is now illegal but we’ve already paid the money.Absolute joke.

Stockton Branch - Great service getting my property on the market. Everyone was friendly and professional and kept me updated at all times. They facilitated all viewings because the property was empty and I was fully aware of what was going on at all times. Event when things went quiet I got regular updates with progress and support. Tanya was lovely!After the sale was agreed, they did go silent and progress reports would have been appreciated however, when I contacted them they were happy to help. An all round solid service.

GoogleCan not fault gowland and white enough they have been fantastic to purchase our property from, they went above and beyond. The staff are lovely and help with whatever enquires we had. We wish we sold with them rather then just the purchase. We know for next time. Wouldnt go anywhere else

GoogleMy flat owned by myself and my brother had previously been up for sale with other estate agents and it was proving to be very difficult in selling it. The flat was in the niche market but Gowland and White advised me on what steps they were going to take to try and sell it. They were extremely pro-active and I had a lot of people go and view it. We did get a buyer but due to unforeseen circumstances had to pull out. Within a week or so we had more people view and found our buyer. I would certainly recommend Gowland and White due to how successful they have been, how pro-active and the help friendliness and support of all the staff in Stockton on tees. A very good service.

GoogleWe rented a property that Gowland White was managing for the landlord in the 3 years we had to wait a year for a banister to be fitted ( which we were told by a tradesman was against the law not to have one) 6 months for a window to be fixed ( did not close property which led to a draft in the living room. 4 months for rising damp & mold in the kitchen, they didn't tell the landlord about the damp until we were moving out, Then after moving out they are trying to deduct some of our bond because there is dust on the skirting board in the living room ( which since we left there has been work men fixing the damp ) also because the shower head was moldy, If you are due to move into a property which is managed by this estate agents make sure to take pictures at the beginning and at the end of your tenancy
