Still waiting for the roads to be done etc

Still waiting for the roads to be completed on the Mirfield, West Yorkshire site!! Cones left scattered, roads full of pot holes etc, pavements in need of doing! Left the roads on the estate half done in January and haven't returned to finish them for 6 months now! Beyond a joke!

Don’t buy a Gleeson house

The whole experience has been a nightmare. The sales team and the builders didn’t k ow the schedules they were working on. This led to us being given 3 different moving in dates.We move in - one window is broken - I’ll accept this as a teething trouble, it is then pointed out that the window is leaning. Head up into the attic, mould growing on the beams, site foreman comes round and tells me this is normal. £300 mould survey later they eventually get someone in to Rox it. Patio doors were leaking resulting in water getting under the floor and a big patch of mould growing beneath our dining table.This week we have a new kitchen fitted, we pull the oven out and it has a huge dent on the outside and wires hanging out.I regret ever coming on this site and my wife and I are miserable.Go to a different builder, they are cheap for a reason.

Seemless experience at Spring Mill

From when we first enquired at Spring Mill, reserving our home, to finally getting the last part of our sale done the team at Gleeson were amazing. Suzanne guided us through the whole process with so much knowledge and care, every bump in the road she dealt with so quickly! Nothing was ever too much for her - she was on hand constantly and I couldn’t of asked for anymore from her. She’s helped us with every question, concern, all communication and any paperwork! Nothing phased her, she’s a asset to Gleeson and I would go to her directly again ten times over. A family friend introduced Gleeson Homes to me and asked me to speak with Karen. I rang Karen on a Tuesday, not knowing it was her off day. Karen gave me a call back as soon as she resumes the office the next working day. We had a conversation, and she booked an appointment with me.I and my wife went to Vickers Grange development in Bircotes to take the first step of getting a new home. Karen was very helpful. She took us around, gave us the necessary information and support we required to getting our new home. She was very welcoming and kind to us.I would say we received good customer service from Karen. Fantastic Experience with John at Bracks Farm

Our sales exec John at Bracks Farm has been unbelievable. His customer service is next to none, he has answered every question (trust me there’s been a lot as first time buyers) with as much detail as humanly possible. John has come through on every promise, we’ve been in our home a month and he’s popped round multiple times to make sure everything is ok again answering any questions and resolving any issues we have had. Despite being very busy with this large site he always makes time for you. John has made buying our first house an extremely easy and pleasurable process and I couldn’t recommend this site more! We were guided through the whole experience from first showing interest on the development to completion and moving in by Amaara, she looked after our interests every step of the way. Everyone on the development seems so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for Mark the site manager, anything you need doing he will sort it. We bought our first home with Gleeson, Amaara helped make the process as smooth as possible and she was so helpful with explaining the process to us. She helped us from the very beginning with getting us in contact with a mortgage advisor, we wouldn’t be in our first home now if it wasn’t for her. A real credit to the team. We moved in quickly, any snags we found prior to moving in were done for the day we moved in. Any snags with the house we’ve had since moving in, Mark and the team have been quick to arrange and sort. The team here have been great. Everything feels well looked after.

Poor post sale

We have a gleeson property and bought it 6 years ago when it was 8 years old. We are now selling it and have discovered the completion certificates were not done by gleeson and the relevant paperwork was not fully completed by them after building. (I am aware our solicitor should have seen this bit did not) To add the that they are being very unhelpful in responding the the queries we have. The house construction is fine it's just the company as a whole seems to just want the money and make shortcuts in completing documents.

We moved up from Somerset to the Rainsborough Park Development. Considering it was such a huge move thanks to Sharon in the Sales Office and Neil the Site Manager it was stress-free. These guys are exceptional and an asset to the Company. Since we moved in they have been on hand in case we have any queries and nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s been 64 days and I can still smell the fresh paint…

We initially visited the Rainsborough Park development to have a general ‘nosey’ and see what type of property would work for us, whether it would ultimately be with Gleason or another developer. 64 days later… we completed. Sharon was exceptionally helpful in the sales office. From explaining how the process would work via part-exchange, to supporting us right through to the completion date, I cannot fault her in any way and she is clearly an asset to the site. In the week leading up to completion, we met Neil, the site manager, as he gave us the tour of our property. His knowledge and professionalism came across immediately and he was very responsive to any questions that we had. A massive thanks go out to both of them.

Very friendly staff!!! Moved in 1 week ago, the development looks really nice and house quality seems to be great so far compared to other developers. What I found to be really special about this place is the staff, both sale office and their solicitors. They have helped us a lot during our buying process and always kept in touch with us updating or advising us on the next step to do. Sue from the sale office has been an absolute legend, she was really professional and friendly through out the process Great Costumer Service Skills! In terms of house quality i don't think i am entitled to have an opinion just yet as i just moved in 1 week ago but what i found nice compared to other developers were i lived before is: -the distance between windows and ceiling is the same from a end to the other on all rooms,- walls are straight - paint quality could be a bit better (it's non washable one) but at least is wipeable- The cupboards and extras installed are really nice, EPC rating B, - the electric charger works perfectly Project EV 7.3KW - BT connection ready done aHouse quality, all seems to be ok with no obvious issues. Location, incredible Staff A++Highly recommend !!
