TrustpilotI am very disappointed with the level…
I am very disappointed with the level of customer service. I have waited weeks for emails to be answered. I was told almost two months ago we were almost ready to agree an exchange/completion date yet we haven’t. I am so disappointed and would not recommend this firm.

TrustpilotGreat First Time Buyer Experience With Danielle
Being first time buyers, there was a lot we didn't understand. Danielle was brilliant from start to finish with the plethora of questions we threw at her, was kind, considerate and polite throughout. Will use again!

TrustpilotHighly recommend
I recently sold an investment property where timing was critical. Emily Wray and team were very professional from start to finish and ensured a smooth and quick transaction. They kept on top of chasing the buyers solicitors and provided regular updates. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using Gilson Gray for any future property transactions.

TrustpilotHave never dealt with this company
Have never dealt with this company, yet this morning I receive an email from them saying’ thank you for your payment of £50.00 ‘. matter reference 14497/10. The amount will be deducted from your bank in 3-5 days. FOR WHAT? Is this a big scam? Have never heard of this company till now, and I certainly have not given my bank details over. Explain GILSON GRAY.

TrustpilotAmazing service
We were so happy with everything from start to finish. Always easy to contact, super efficient, we felt like we were kept informed every step of the way and just had an all round wonderful experience. Everyone we dealt with but especially Alice was always so friendly and never made us feel like we were a bother and were just so helpful. Absolutely brilliant service!

Emily Wray made the whole process run smoothly from start to finish. Our buyer wanted a quick transaction and Emily made sure that happened. We even had documents sent over for us to sign on a Sunday morning! Emily was so professional and pleasant to work with, so we would definitely recommend this company with confidence.

Jo who dealt with the sale and purchase of our home was fantastic from the start. Although the process was long and timely (due to other parties) we were provided with regular updates and if we needed to chase she was also available on the phone to answer any queries. Jo went out of her way to make sure we were in our new home due to many delays we had because of other solicitors. Would recommend and will use again should we decide to move house.

TrustpilotPriyanka at the Glasgow office was excellent
My partner & I purchased our first home with Gilson Gray a few weeks ago. Initially our experience was similar to other reviews and we had problems getting in contact with our solicitor and concerns over the lack of updates for many days at a time. We were starting to worry we had made the wrong decision until we found out our solicitor had to take time off and our case was picked up by Priyanka at the Glasgow office. Priyanka was extremely professional, responsive & explained things to us in a way that made sense making the process less daunting as it had previously seemed. We particularly appreciated the fact she invited us in to meet face to face and have us the opportunity to ask all the questions we had. We would thoroughly recommend her & are very happy with our new home. Thank you Priyanka!

TrustpilotHorrendous customer service
We recently sold our house and bought a new house (gilson gray acting on both transactions). The customer service has been atrocious and communication has been abysmal. I genuinely wouldn’t even rate them a 1, if I could give them 0 I would. The average wait time for a response is about 3 weeks!! We moved in November 2022, it’s now April 2023 and we still can’t get a hold of them to get one of our keys. Please avoid like the plague, the staff are over worked and they clearly can’t control the workload they are taking on in the conveyancing department. Joke of a company

TrustpilotRenting with Gilson Gray (thanks Samuel!)
My partner and I are moving from Nottingham to Edinburgh so were looking for a flat to rent. Because of the distance, it was difficult to get viewings as we both work full time. We looked at and signed a lease for a property managed by Samuel Picchi at Gilson Gray. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. He took time to answer all of our questions and keep us in the loop along every step of the process. Can’t recommend him and Gilson Gray enough!

We have had a very good experience with Gibson Gray. Our Conveyancer Joanne Carlton has been incredibly helpful and we have always been able to talk to her about any issues we did not understand, she has always been available for us. Our first time buying through modern method of auction but with Jo’s help by far the easiest purchase we have made. Just 32 days from start to finish!Thank you!
