GoogleI rented a property for 3 years in williamson road in Lancaster. Possibly the worst agency you can deal with! They treated us very badly, always wanted to take more money and not flexible at all. Luckily our landlady interfered to remove their house from entwistle. Thankfully landlady solved the issue of deposit and extending the contract.

GoogleI have recently rented a property through EG having been given very short notice to leave the property I previously lived in. Luke was there to meet us on the initial viewing and was very friendly and explained everything I needed to know very professionally. Following that everything was processed in a very timely manor and professional at all times. A second viewing was requested and immediately granted. Top marks and a big thankyou for making a stressful process much less stressful. Thanks again.

GoogleWe approached Entwistle Green for the sale of our Grade II listed property, as we were also looking to buy from them and felt this may streamline the process. We instantly felt confident in their abilities and the personal and sensitive approach towards our property was exactly what we were looking for. Emma and her team were extremely professional and, despite the chaotic nature of the housing market at this time, provided a very personal service that kept us involved. Our personal purchase process was lengthy and complex. Emma and her team had a lot of stakeholders to carry through this process, but we felt that EG endeavoured to meet our needs throughout, and were able to push things along when necessary to maintain progress. Would use EG Lancaster again in the future.

GoogleMyself and my partner are trying to find property to rent. Our communication with Entwistle Green was unpleasant when we were just trying to find out more information about a property. We were told that the property had been reserved (fair enough) and that we could sign up to be on their waiting list. So we told them our details, but when they found out that we are currently students they completely dismissed us, saying that they "generally don't let to students" even though we had quite clearly already explained that we were looking to rent after graduation and would be in full time work. The man on the phone did not listen and ended the conversation after offering no help or advice to us. After deciding to try phoning back to further explain that we could provide details of a guarantor to support our application, the same person answered the phone but could apparently not remember us or the conversation we had just had, even though it was only about 3 minutes later that we called back. He informed us that "it's all well and good saying you have a guarantor, but relationships fall apart". Entwistle Green made what is already a very stressful process even more so with their dismissive attitude towards us, offering no help for us trying to rent a property and disregarding our legitimate means to pay rent. After this dealing, I was grateful to not have let a property with them.

GoogleI would give 0 stars if I could. Bunch or time wasting amateurs! They are terrible at communicating. Whenever we rang them, they either did not pick up the phone or they said the person who is dealing with our sale was out of the office. In the end we decided to take our property off the market with this company and list it with a competitor and Entwistle couldn't even manage to take it off the market in a timely manner. It took them 2 weeks to remove their for sale sign and remove the online advertisement. They do not vet the people who put in offers to buy a house thoroughly and as a result we had 3 people who put in offers, wasted our time and then pulled out when they could not secure the funds. Honestly DO NOT waste your time with this branch!

GoogleI've had such a hard time finding a flat in Lancaster due to the housing crisis, and my personal circumstances (disabled, with a service dog). Entwistle has really been the only agents that have been kind to me, and treat me like a person. I've been really pleased with them. Everyone has been kind, but I'd like to credit two people in particular: Luke Squirrell, I've spoken to him several times and when we met face to face he remembered my name and was very sympathetic and understanding about my situation, promising to help. He gave me good advice on how to write my application and I was luckily finally successful in finding a place (contract still pending). Also Louise Sadoune has been really fabulous, I've mostly spoken to her via email, and been really appreciative of her time and kindness. All in all, I've been so happy with this estate agent, they've been so kind and understanding with my circumstances, and really supportive. Very grateful for their time and help!

GoogleThey don't answer the phone or even have the courtesy to respond to the voice messages or reply to emails regarding viewing some properties advertised on the Web. So I don't have any faith in their services and am wondering if they exist!!!NegativeResponsiveness

GoogleThere was once a 5 star review in place for the kind customer service of Lauren Winstanley who has now left the company. Upon our moving out, we have dealt with the incompetency of the team here at Entwistle Green Dale Street. Between the shared dissatisfaction of both me and my partner as tenants and the landlord who also aired this concern; this agency has managed to breach our contract, not provide us with a DPC, and during the referencing period they failed to efficiently complete and handle basic emails from a new agency which had to be navigated by myself. Unless you would like to do most work for this embarrassing 'estate agency' who charge a premium rent rate compared to its competitors, I would instead look elsewhere.
