GoogleVery poor. Arranged block bookings in work time , my daughter tried to ask for a viewing after 4pm and they refused. Shocking that people can't view outside of their working hours as they can't always get time off work

The market is incredibly busy and we want to allow as many people the opportunity to view our quality properties as possible, rather than on a first come first served basis. We also go above and beyond after working hours to accommodate people who can't view during the day, sometime these slots are filled way in advance or our team members may have personal commitments those particular days. Shocking!!! Unprofessional and poor customer service. Would have given no stars if it was an option. (Dealt with Accrington branch) We viewed the property twice. We were told that the property had been reduced by £10,000 since it was put on the market but we can see no evidence of this, we submitted an offer which was not accepted but then increased twice and were told we were in a good position. They only rang us when they wanted to put pressure on us to up our offer. After 8 days since our initial offer and 4 days since our final offer we noticed that the property had changed to Sold STC but nobody had informed us whether our last offer had been accepted or not so we rang and left 2 voicemails, sent an email and text but still they did not respond. Finally rang from a different mobile number and they answered!!! Please do not deal with this company unless you want to deal with greedy unprofessional staff

GoogleI am not a first time buyer and If it wasn't for Duckworth it would have been a very difficult process. I can not praise the two negotiating agents enough (Debbie and James) for their enthusiasm and effort in selling my property and my purchase was also through Duckworth. I also want to give Rebecca a massive thank you for her knowledge, knowhow and positivity to help push through the completions on both sells and purchase. I can't possibly suggest Duckworth Darwen enough, local agents with local knowledge and a wealth of experience working on your behalf. Thank you for representing me and I am loving my new home.

GoogleMassively unprofessional 😭 Made arrangements to view a property in great harwood. We took time of work and they just didn't turn up. No phone call, text or email. If they did not want to do 5pm why say they would be there at 5pm? We will be black listing them!

GoogleJust bought a house in Briercliffe from Duckworths. Leanne who’s is the branch manager was absolutely amazing!! We didn’t sell through Duckworths but in Hindsight I wish we did! Leanne showed us round the property a few times before we agreed the purchase price and even though we weren’t her Clients she gave us her personal phone number and kept updating us and chasing things up on our side of things regarding our buyer which should have been done by our estate agent who we were selling with. Leanne went above and Beyond even ringing us up on weekends to update us with things. We had a nightmare with selling our house and if we ever get over the ordeal of it all and decide to sell again in the future I know who I’ll be going to 100%. Already recommended Duckworths to friends and family.

GoogleDuckworths have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish when selling our Dad's house. There are lots of positives, but the highlights have to be the communication which has been great, the kind and supportive nature of the estate agents (especially Debra and Rebecca), the dedication to secure a sale and to ensure that we achieved the best outcome for us. We would highly recommend Duckworths and would definitely use their services again in the future. 5 stars!

GoogleVery poor communication from Duckworths. I was contacted to say the vendor would be happy to agree an amount, which I was happy to proceed with. The following day I was pushed to increase my offer, to which I responded, we agreed the price yesterday. I then received no communication from Andrew only an email which went into my spam folder to say my offer had been declined. Bad business and a waste of everyone’s time involved. Joe was great at carrying out the viewings, very personable and knowledgeable of the local area including valuations/comparable properties.

GoogleLeanne and the team at duckworths went above and beyond with the sale of our property. We had a few agents provide us with a valuation however after speaking to duckworths there was no question who we were going to choose and I’m glad we chose them! Would use duckworths every time in the future
