I sold my house with duckworths

I sold my house with duckworths, it wasn’t an easy ride, after falling through near completion duckworths were already on the ball and re sold it again within a week. I was very stressed throughout it all it was very traumatic ( maybe a bit dramatic ha but had a lot on at the time ) and Leanne Caitlen and Harry were absolutely fabulous they kept me calm and re assured me throughout. I have dealt with other estate agents before and since then and nothing has compared to the level of professionalism and help they offered. They kept me positive and were so helpful I wouldn’t have carried on if it wasn’t for them being so great! I recommend duckworths to everyone I speak to and will continue to do so. Thank you guys for all your help. I’m sure you know who this is by this message but I can’t thank you enough for helping me through it, treat me more like a friend than a customer and I just love that. Thank you xx

I found Duckworth to be extremely rude and unprofessional, particularly in my dealings with Rebecca Baron and Lyla Baldwin. There was hardly any real communication, no initiative, and at no point did we feel like we were being taken seriously as genuine buyers. We constantly had to chase for updates, and even then the responses often felt dismissive and uninterested. A good estate agent should be proactive, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping both buyer and seller move forward. Sadly, that just wasn’t the case here. It felt like Duckworth were doing the bare minimum, and nothing more. I wouldn’t recommend them. If you want an agency that values you, respects your time and actually works to move things along, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Very poor communication from Duckworths. I was contacted to say the vendor would be happy to agree an amount, which I was happy to proceed with. The following day I was pushed to increase my offer, to which I responded, we agreed the price yesterday. I then received no communication from Andrew only an email which went into my spam folder to say my offer had been declined. Bad business and a waste of everyone’s time involved. Joe was great at carrying out the viewings, very personable and knowledgeable of the local area including valuations/comparable properties.

From the moment I spoke to Lorna I knew she would find me a property. The service was exceptional. First property fell through but Lorna was straight on it suggesting more properties. Absolutely shocking estate agents..

Absolutely shocking estate agents... I left work early last Thursday to view a property.. waited 1hr 30 no show.. as I got the last slot 5pm I could not contact them anyway. Re booked for a week later same again. 1st excuse was they was at wrong property. Same Street name different town? I said the town I wanted.... second excuse was they emailed me last week to cancel on Thursday... zero email zero call zero nothing. Avoid like the plague. Disgraceful. Useless and rude. 4hrs plus I missed working . Shocking I will never use or recommend to anybody. Lier and very unprofessional.

Shame i couldn't rate 0 stars. Don't bother booking. They book times with you, don't show and don't confirm bookings. Leave early and don't offer courtesy calls to check on progress. Moreover - they outright lie. Avoid at all costs. There's plenty more houses out there, and sellers will eventually learn to avoid them.

Down to earth. No airs and graces. Say it like it is. I've not sold my hoise as yet but that's no fault of theirs, I'm not ready to let people into my property to see it as yet They tell me they have 7 or 8 people interested and that's without any photos They seem to have done a lot of work already. They only came out to see the place once... They will do for me. I will be ready. To let them take photos soon. Highly recommend them from my experience so far and what I've seen and been told about other sales.
