Disappointing

Being my 3rd new build house and always hearing positive views on DW I had high expectations, also I was informed 3 snags would take place. Personally I think they rushed the build to meet a date THEY set and I was not pushing being chain free and rent free while waiting for the build I’d quite happily waited another week or two to have it perfect first time. From the off I turned up to builders mess on the property, no bow and a poor house clean it was very grubby still , site did have a 2nd clean to a much higher standard to resolve this in fairness To name a few annoying points below Paint on the new flooring Damaged items every where Cement in the door frames Extraction fan insecure in the ceiling Full of bugs Doors hitting lights Personally I feel this was a higher management decision to push the sale thro on that day to hit targets and forgot they were selling a £600,000 house to a new family If it was not for the helpfulness and politeness of the site manager I’d made a lot more fuss on the day

Happy in our new home

There were some snags with our new home. Most of these were trivial and largely cosmetic. However, DWH dealt with them all. The Customer Care department, and Lauren Lilly in particular, made us feel like a valued customer, were very helpful and sorted everything out as expeditiously as they could.The only adverse comment we have about DWH was the rather aggressive way they push conveyancing towards contract exchange. That said, I would by from them again.
