This review is for workmen from DWH customer care team, NOT THE PROPERTY OR COMPANY. We have had numerous issues in our home, some repeated. The workmen have been great, friendly, efficient, punctual, tidy and very professional.We recently had our en suite shower redone and two gentlemen Simon Smith and Mike Rouse we in our property for a few days. They were really good guys, explained everything they were doing step by step and were empathetic to our frustrations as it was a job that had been done previously.During their time in our home they were brilliant, I trusted them completely to be left in our home alone and the quality of their work and how clean they left it afterwards were top notch. If you get these guys on a job at your home you can rest easy it will be done professionally.

We bought our house on Fairfax Heath in 2023. We've been in at year now and have had constant appointments for things to be fixed.I appreciate the allowance for settling and we've had very few issues with cracking. Our main issues have been the garden, 1% incline we were told, turned out it was unusably slanted and the grass had a germ in it that was killing it. Cost us the best part if £10000 to sort that out.Then there was the blown plasterboard screws, the plasterboard tape that hadn't been covered properly, staircase banister that was fitted twisted, the floor boards in almost the whole upper floor needed fixing as they all creaked. Seals fell out of door frames, the front door dropped numerous times. Then the biggest issues was the en suite shower kept cracking, 3 times we had it fixed and now we are hoping it's the last time.We've found that our kitchen units aren't new to our property and there's holes in the kitchen wall where they have taken stuff down and not filled and painted thinking we wouldn't notice. There's divets and chips in walls that have just been painted over hoping they will be missed. Odd sections of paintwork where you can see they've fixed something and wiped a paintbrush over it, then the sun comes through the window and you have an odd coloured rectangle on the wall.Oh and the barrage of plants they put in the front garden all got some sort of mould, and I had to rip them all out too! I dread now when the warranty for fixing issues is up the amount this house is going to cost me.All in all, for the price, they aren't worth it.

All the double glazing is bowed and there is a stream of cold air that comes through the double glazing. There is damp in three rooms. Horrible company, terrible houses but unfortunately that is the state of most big builders in England. If I could give a zero rating I would. Selling our house over just over 10 years so NHBC no longer valid. Issue came up with our roof and it turns out it was never built to code or any kind of standard building practices. I would never buy a house in England again. If you do please raise hell on every little defect otherwise you will be letting the builder off the hook. I would also suggest a thorough paying for a thorough building inspection even when new and hold these companies to account.
