GoogleI've been renting from Donald Ross for the first time and it will be my last. The way the treat people is very wrong and the way they handle this is out of order I'd recommend you try any other place it will be 10x better there was a viewing at the property we was renting we are okay for anyone to come in and have a look firstly they didn't let us know when they're coming but we was still okay secondly when the agent came in he barged in my daughter stays unwell he really banged on the door and the way he spoke was out of order since then my daughter is scared of the door being knocked and we're in and out of the hospital since that time she's had a lot of sezuires ive told the agency but they didn't seem to bother or care which is inhumanity they're was being very racist and judging by the skin colour.

GoogleWe have arranged to view the farmhouse, the person who was showing us a house was young and had no clue about the property, he actually asked us what price of the property is at and what the listing description says while the lady on the phone said we’d have a person who can answer any questions about it. The house was said to be newly refurbished but in realty it was all dump with signs of slugs slime all over carpets, mould and insects, there was even poison present on the floor which looked like it was for either the slugs or rats. The floor in the kitchen was damaged with holes in it, while the sofas in the leaving room were dirty, dump and with mouldy bags under the sofas pillows. The garaged was also mouldy, smelled very badly and was cluttered with dirty and dump brick o brack. We were yet still interested in the property due to location and were willing to refurbish the interior fully, the person was showing us the property was supposed to call us with an update but after a longer while we decided to give the agency a call to enquiry about and got told the property has been taken by someone and it’s now gone. We are very disappointed and offended that no one gave us a wee call as we would have been waiting forever. One star because i can`t give 0

My partner and I were going to rent a property through Donald Ross and paid our deposit but swiftly asked for it to be returned after they told us they will not proceed unless we pay £65 per person to conduct reference checks. This practice is illegal and they are the only letting agents I have ever dealt with that had attempted to do this. Avoid at all costs.

FacebookNeeded help and advice from professionals as I wanted to rent my property out and had no idea how to do it. It’s a bit of a mine field but a young lady called Fiona was incredibly helpful and guided me through the whole process. I am extremely happy with the level of service received from them from comprehensive inspection reports and how to deal with any tenant issues promptly can't recommend them enough It can be a complex issue but Fiona made it seem so easy. A big thanks to all of her help and to Donald Ross for guiding me through the minefield ! Highly recommended!

FacebookJust used Donald Ross in Ayr to buy our new property, sell our current property and rent a property whilst our new house is being built. Fantastic service received from all elements of the business which I can’t fault at all. Their expert knowledge on the local housing market has made the whole process very stress free indeed and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you to Fraser and his team for everything - our house sold in 2 weeks, speaks for itself!

FacebookFirstly, PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF DONALD ROSS LETTINGS IN AYR! So far we have had nothing but complete ignorance and deception from the Ayr office, at first we were charged a reference charge (which is illegal in Scotland) and when we first moved in we opened the door to the house being left in an outrageous condition, lights hanging out the sockets, piles of dirt swept into the corner and the cooker left with dirt deposits within. We have been without a fridge for almost a month and when we have challenged this, we have been told a company tried to deliver it at 8am but we never answered which is a complete lie and the manager of the Ayr office told us (in such a horrible attitude) "they shouldn't have to deliver it twice" at that point, we had to leave the office. I can not stress the extent of the poor services provided by the Ayr office letting and please do not put yourself through the horrors of renting with this company! I am sure Donald Ross will reply to this, I would like to say I do not hold Donald Ross responsible as a company, however the Ayr office have cause an unbelievable amount of stress to myself and my family! I will be taking legal action if someone in charge of the Ayr office does not sort these issues out!

FacebookFrom start to finish they were fantastic. Extremely helpful when buying my new property and selling my house. James did a fantastic job when coming round and taking wonderful pictures of our house. From the day we spoke to them about selling our property with them it was online and sold by closing date within 7 days. Could not have asked for better service.
