This agency should be avoided at all costs if you want to sell your house. They are unhelpful in the extreme, staff are disinterested once they have your money and the director Ms Miller is the most arrogant woman I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. She appears to have delusions of being business woman of the year when in fact her little company can't even do the basics right.Edited in reply to Donald Ross: It's funny how only bad reviews are questioned by you. Do you only allow good ones?

We chose Donald Ross, and specifically Fraser Stewart, having chatted with a good few agents around Ayr. Fraser is energetic and he brought that energy and determination to a sale that was complicated and took time. He communicated clearly and honestly, and returned my calls pretty fast. I was really satisfied with the final outcome, and I felt he understood the local market at what is an unusual time.

We bought our current home through Donald Ross. While house hunting I was speaking to a number of estate agents who I didn't always trust and sometimes felt they were using us to push other people's offers up etc. However I started with some email exchanges with Fraser Stewart from Donald Ross, then had some phone conversations. We discussed our priorities and wish list and Fraser was able to apply this and question it where needed to help us. He was honest about the properties they had on their books and based on our needs/wants was able to steer us clear of things that were not going to tick the boxes even if the didn't have an alternative to push or it meant us looking elsewhere. This really grew our trust and we really felt that Fraser wanted to help us find the right house that we would be happy in. Which in the end he did :)The process was not straight forward buying during lockdown and we ended up buying something still in construction. Fraser was always available on the phone to help us work through any snags and communicate with the developers. We couldn't have done it without him.

Wanted me to reduce my house price to increase footfall which only got people’s hopes up of purchasing my home at a low price than valued. Each time i rejected they then told me its not realistic what I'm looking for even although to get me to sign up they told me i’d get my home report value and would sell within a week. Overpriced for limited service. I ended up agreeing my sale price privately in the end with my buyer as Donald Ross told me my buyer could only afford a certain amount. If you chose to sell with Donald Ross don’t be fooled into a dream story and stick to what you want to sell for.

A team that go the extra mile, definitely brought viewers in and felt safe in their very proficient hands. We would definitely recommend and use again if we ever moved again. Have used other estate agents previously and no where as professional and friendly.

This is invaluable when buying and selling a property. They are passionate about every house they sell and very evident that they work as a tight and strong team. They have been highly professional, approachable, friendly and very respectful during all stages of our selling process. They communicated with us constantly which alleviated any anxiety. FacebookI sold my property with Donald Ross, Ayr. As a vendor I felt fully supported by the team that was assigned to the sale. The staff are experienced, knowledgeable and efficient. Communication at every stage of the process was excellent. I am now buying a property being sold by Donald Ross and I have been equally impressed by the service from that side of the fence. Claire, Maureen and James deserve a special vote of thanks.
