5 Star service and professionalism from Gavin

5 Star service and professionalism from Gavin Urquhart and Donald Ross. Was considering Purple Bricks, but so glad we went local. Gavin kept us up to date daily and guided us through the whole marketing and sale of our house. Every question answered and always at the end of the phone to make this a stress free experience.

Sold in 3 days!!

The service we received from James and the staff and Donald Ross was absolutely flawless throughout the full journey, helping us successfully sell our home after 3 days well above the asking price. We agreed a deal that suited both parties and the journey couldn’t of been any smoother. Highly recommend using James Gibson at Donald Ross if you are looking to sell your home quickly and without any hassle.

Very professional, efficient Business

I have been renting out a flat in Ayrshire for 14 years or so. My early experiences of Letting Agents were very disappointing, to say the least. Luckily I'm now with Donald Ross and the difference is amazing. Tenants bring their problems of course but my Agents deal quickly and efficiently. I like the fact that I'm normally dealing with one person - Fiona Hunter. I've seen other reviews, warmly mentioning her. I agree. She has clearly gone the extra mile to ensure that the right tenant is going into the right environment. This has resulted in a happy tenant and a smooth tenancy so far (touch wood). Well done and many thanks.

Selling with Donald Ross

I have recently sold 2 properties using Donald Ross and found the service they provided to be impressive from start through to completion. James's knowledge of the local property market is exceptional, allowing him to provide a realistic and achievable valuation. Maureen and Tracey were both excellent in arranging viewings and keeping me informed of developments throughout the whole process. I would not hesitate to use Donald Ross again or recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly and professional service.

Thank you Fiona

Like most people I usually only write reviews to make a complaint heard. Not this time! Having previously sold a house a few years ago and dealing with - what can only be described as a sleazy ex car salesman for an estate agent. I wanted to make sure this time, I made the right choice.I really liked Donald Ross from my first interaction. I met with Fiona Hunter, and assumed as they were a larger company, I'd be dealing with different people all the time, and once my signature was on the dotted line, I wouldn't hear much from them until I chased. Fiona was polite, knowledgeable, efficient and had me laughing on each conversation. Although my house sold quickly, Fiona went the extra mile making sure I was kept informed throughout the process, updates landed with me before I needed to ask, from arrange the photographer to writing up an impressive property schedule and even keeping me informed of when someone would be out with a For Sale sign. I could not fault Fiona, she clearly has a passion for her job and genuinely cared about making sure I made the right decision with the right offer. And she was right! If you're thinking about selling your house. I'd definitely recommend speaking to Fiona Hunter at Donald Ross, a credit to company and a pleasure. Thank you!

Fantastic smooth and professional…

Fantastic smooth and professional service. From our initial meeting with Gavin Urquhart for a home valuation, through the photography and marketing process, the appointments and viewings resulting in a super quick sale, every step of the process was handled extremely professionally and with the least stress for us. We can’t recommend this company enough. Gavin instantly made us feel at ease. He was very reassuring and took the time to explain everything really clearly without putting us under any pressure. Even after the several months we took to make the decision to sell, he clearly remembered all the details of our house and of our situation. Phil the photographer made our wee house look it’s absolute best and was a complete pro. Nicola, Tracey and Maureen were fantastic in handling all our appointments, providing regular feedback from viewings and managing the offers at closing date to make the end result of the sale really easy for us. We got the impression that this is a very trustworthy group of individuals who work really really hard to take care of of every last detail. Nothing was too much trouble. And all this in the middle of a global pandemic and under difficult working conditions for all.Thank you to each of you for all your help, much appreciated.
