GoogleDon't use cromwells they lied about a buyer they never had on my property in which pulled out but told me he was still interested in buying and then got involved with a deal I was doing with another agent which I lost out on

GoogleVery unprofessional. All the buyers should have the same access to the offered properties. I was a first person to offer on a property - as I was really interested to buy. After 3 weeks of no communication I found out that the property was sold to someone else. It was very unfair to the seller - who could get better offer and unfair to me. Avoid them.

GoogleThey posted a flyer through my door and I sent them an email asking about letting out my flat. No reply so I sent them a chaser. Sent a third and still no response so my question really is why they put the email address as a contact in the first place. They won't get anywhere in the current climate, I've had immediate responses from other Estate Agents who are very helpful. Surprised they're still going if this is the general service, and I certainly won't be wasting any more time on them!

GoogleI am very disappointed with the way I was dealt with by Cromwells. They were awful! When I registered with them by email, they never phoned me back, I left it 48 hours and gibing heard nothing I then had to phone a few times, eventually getting through to someone who wanted to help! Some of the staff hadn't got a clue, I had to phone 3 times to try & view a property, never receiving a call back when having to leave a message, no one followed up my viewing for feedback & once my purchase was finally agreed, I never received an update from them throughout the whole transaction. I had to do all the chasing. I wonder how they do business? I'd never use them as I can see they do very little work for their owners. They seem to forget that I was a buyer this time round, but when I sell in the next 18 months, I will be an owner. A friend who sold through them, had their sale fall through because the buyer couldn't get a mortgage. He is understandably asking why didn't Cromwells didn't qualify the buyer properly at the point of offer? He has now disinstructed them as he felt they were also awful & has gone to an independent agent. This big multi branch company is not best. Avoid!

Hello, I am sorry that you feel this way, but are you sure that this was with our agency? We do not appear to have your name on any of our systems, and it appears that we have never had anyone with the name Emaline Cassidy view with us. If you want to contact us and ask for Amanda then we would be happy to look into this as we would be keen to resolve this issue for you.

GooglePathetic - I viewed a property with them and put an offer they initially came back saying it was low, i increased the offer and they do not even care to update me on what the owner thinks. I followed up again on the status and was told owner expects more I increased yet again and have not heard from them. I have now given up and started looking elsewhere. they just do not care about the sale or followup. If you are really seriously about buying or selling forget Cromwells.

GoogleMy Husband and I recently purchased our first house through Cromwells Wallington. We found Mitzi and Amanda particularly helpful in getting the sale pushed through and they were very helpful and efficient in dealing with any queries etc. that we had with the vendors' solicitor.

GoogleNot only did they not even bother to show up to a valuation I had booked in to sell my property, they also told me a property that had just been uploaded 'had gone under offer' pretty amazing considering it had just showed up online. Not only that- I asked my Mum to call up not long after, they told her it was available and asked her when she could view! I've spoken to two different members of staff one of them quite literally put the phone down on me when I said I didn't have a buyer for my property... the reason I don't have a buyer for my property is because I am a cash buyer and I DONT NEED ONE... they just assumed I couldn't afford the property without even asking me any questions..so not only have they lost out on a sale from my other property- they have lost out on a buyer! Very well done guys - fab estate agency. I sincerely hope your manager is bursting with pride. RESPONSE TO THEIR COMMENTS: You wouldn't have me on your system as your staff didn't bother to register me, which is why they also didn't know i'm a cash buyer. How can you claim 'you don't have my property on your system'...I did not mention the address of it, size, location...you have once again demonstrated that you are compulsive liars, considering nobody showed up, can only assume that it wasn't added to your diary either!!....you have lied about a property being under offer when it's not - you have lied about your good reviews (I can mostly see awful ones), you have lied with your response to this review... all round liars. I don't want to ring, I dont care to listen to someone explain why my business isn't good enough. ...I've instructed Rosingdale's now...thanks

Are you sure you have the correct office as we have no record of you on our system and to book a valuation it is impossible without taking all your details. I would be grateful if you would contact us at Cromwells Wallington to discuss this further as I think you have the wrong office. 0208 647 4422 . You will see from our other recent reviews that we do our very best to look after all our clients and have been succeeding. Nobody in our office knows of you and no property or valuation fits the description you have given as we have attended all valuations which are on our system. We use state of the art software and no valuation can be booked without you being fully registered. It is impossible, which is why this review might be for the wrong office. Please call us to discuss so we know this is not a fake review. We are not interested in giving you excuses we just want to know the facts because if this is a genuine complaint we would take this seriously however we cannot address any issues you think we may have if you do not provide further details. ie address and name. Thank you.

GoogleI would thoroughly recommend using Cromwells, Wallington if you're buying or selling locally. Mainly dealt with Sam and Mitzie, both were incredibly efficient, helpful and chased up my vendors solicitors way beyond their job description. When you call with a query, anyone in the office can help you, there isn't one specific agent for your property. They added zero stress to a period of time which is typically immensely stressful. GoogleI’m a naturally sceptical person, especially about the housing market. Nevertheless, I was sufficiently clueless about home buying that I had no choice but to work with an agent. My wife and I worked with Amanda to purchase our home and really can’t say enough good things about her. She is knowledgeable, approachable, personable, endlessly patient, and incredibly generous with her time including arranging the viewing on very short notice. Particular high points were helping us extricate ourselves from a seller who ended up behaving in a really sketchy manner after we’d made an offer, She answered every question clearly and thoroughly. Buying a home in this market is challenging, but working with Amanda made it as painless and straightforward as possible. Also important to us was the fact that she put absolutely no pressure on us and provided information in an even-handed, non-judgmental, manner, and wasn’t unfazed by several course-changes in what I was looking for. We highly recommend her.

GoogleCan’t recommend Cromwells Cheam enough. From beginning to end they were helpful and supportive. They always returned my calls. We recived feedback on every viewing and they found us a great buyer. George was great with viewings, and Heather was amazing during the stressful process of getting us to exchange with regular updates. Thanks again to Jason and his team. Highly recommend!
