GoogleSo pleased we chose Cromwells to sell our home. It was a bumpy road but each stage was dealt speedily and professionally by George. Thank you to Jason for the initial meeting and great photos and to George and Heather for completing the process, highly recommend!

GooglePathetic - I viewed a property with them and put an offer they initially came back saying it was low, i increased the offer and they do not even care to update me on what the owner thinks. I followed up again on the status and was told owner expects more I increased yet again and have not heard from them. I have now given up and started looking elsewhere. they just do not care about the sale or followup. If you are really seriously about buying or selling forget Cromwells.

They kept us informed every step of the way and the "after sales" management of our lengthy and problematic chain showed their professionalism and expertise. I would highly recommend Cromwells Carshalton Beeches!

GoogleHaving recently [Oct.'17] sold our property through Cromwells Estate Agents, we were really happy with the service throughout the entire process. When choosing an agent, Jason came to see us and told us what they would do for us. He told us how they would market the property in clear terms but was succinct and didn’t keep us for hours as some of his competitors did. He also offered us a good rate and suggested a sale price we were pleased with. The property was marketed well with great photos and after an open day, we had a buyer. Heather then worked extremely hard keeping the sale on track responding to our queries and the many and varied demands of the buyer. We achieved the asking price for the house and were happy to pay the commission to Cromwells as they did such a good job making it all go smoothly.

GoogleWe sold in Sept 2017, Jason carried out the valuation. He valued it at exactly what we had in mind. Took excellent photos the same day. By that afternoon, true to his word, our property was on the market. He also suggested a local firm of solicitors, Stratega Law, that he works with. I can honestly say, they were excellent and competitively priced. We sold within the first week. His team conducted the viewings, in a very professional manner, and it was evident they were working to achieve a sale for us. Heather then maintained contact between our buyers, solicitors and ourselves and at times, I am sure this was not an easy task, but she remained professional and reassuring at all times. I would be more than happy to recommend Cromwell’s to anyone. We all know buying and selling your property can be extremely stressful but they help you through the whole process. GoogleI purchased my first property through Cromwell's in Wallington and I cannot speak more highly of the service that I received from the team, in particular Mitzie and Natalie. Buying your first property is a stressful time and the service that we received made our buying experience so much better than I had ever imagined. I would like to personally thank the team and would recommend them to anyone looking for their services, finding a good estate agents is quite the task so shouting about the great ones is must!

GoogleADDING ON TO HARRIETS REVIEW. To begin with, the flat had damp which Cromwells had promised us a free survey. After 2 weeks of emails and calls they finally contacted the damp company. (A delay due to Cromwells) The reason for the seller taking the flat off the market was because of a lack of communication and taking too long. The seller repeatedly called cromwells, who failed to notify us. We were waiting for the mortgage lender, which is out of our hands. If we had been contacted we would have been able to give information with the ongoing situations. After Harriet leaving a review, which we felt was adequate due to our experience, we have tried to arrange to view another flat. We are desperate to sort out a property with a baby on the way (we dont have a lot of options), so we were going to try and look past the bad customer service and try again. Unfortunately, we were met with a very unprofessional respose. It does not look like Cromwells are willing to deal with us. Yes we may have gone against our word, gone back to Cromwells on our knees but thats because we are desperate to get a property before the baby is born. We will now have to wait until another property pops up which is not being sold by Cromwells.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking and appalling customer service. To begin with we were impressed with what seemed like a very friendly approach. From the moment the "professional photographs" were taken the level or service dropped. Once we received and accepted an offer all contact seemed to halt until we constantly rang/emailed for an update or response. We were constantly lied to or given ridiculous excuses by Sam and Mitzi almost daily. The only time we got anything in a half decent time from was following a phone call when I requested to speak to the manager, who surprisingly wasn't in at that point. I pointed out that my sister and friend were unfortunately selling through Cromwells at the same and that I would be pointing all this out to them. Turns out they had both uninstructed Cromwells almost two weeks prior due to the same issues. I discussed all my issues and grievances on the phone at the time and was assured that it would all be dealt with. The next time I called I was told by Sam that as a gesture of good will, due to the poor service, his boss had suggested that we paid our estate agents fees in cash via a brown envelope to save us the VAT!!!! My advice would be to avoid at all costs.

GoogleGutted as our seller pulled out due to delays, delays which we were not aware were a problem until the seller had already pulled out and it was too late. Had Cromwells of contacted us when the seller first expressed concern we could have communicated what was happening our end. Every contact we had with Mitzi she was rude and abrupt. She was keen to put the blame on us even though we were blissfully unaware of the apparent issues. We have been well and truly let down by Cromwells due to their lack of communication and will avoid looking at Cromwells properties to prevent something like this happening again. A few family members have also had problems with Cromwells in the past. ****Update in response from owner. We were clearly advised that the seller decided to stay put due to delays. Your response below is a blatent lie. My partner contacted you to arrange a viewing as he saw another property he really liked to which he received the reply of "We note that you that from your recent online review you have stated you would not like to view properties through us? Regards " I would've expected Cromwells to use this as an opportunity to put things right. Instead they just reiterated their lack of professionalism.
it is out of our control when a seller decides not to move! We note that you have already enquired about properties we are marketing for sale which contradicts what you say in your review.

GoogleThey posted a flyer through my door and I sent them an email asking about letting out my flat. No reply so I sent them a chaser. Sent a third and still no response so my question really is why they put the email address as a contact in the first place. They won't get anywhere in the current climate, I've had immediate responses from other Estate Agents who are very helpful. Surprised they're still going if this is the general service, and I certainly won't be wasting any more time on them!

GoogleI am very disappointed with the way I was dealt with by Cromwells. They were awful! When I registered with them by email, they never phoned me back, I left it 48 hours and gibing heard nothing I then had to phone a few times, eventually getting through to someone who wanted to help! Some of the staff hadn't got a clue, I had to phone 3 times to try & view a property, never receiving a call back when having to leave a message, no one followed up my viewing for feedback & once my purchase was finally agreed, I never received an update from them throughout the whole transaction. I had to do all the chasing. I wonder how they do business? I'd never use them as I can see they do very little work for their owners. They seem to forget that I was a buyer this time round, but when I sell in the next 18 months, I will be an owner. A friend who sold through them, had their sale fall through because the buyer couldn't get a mortgage. He is understandably asking why didn't Cromwells didn't qualify the buyer properly at the point of offer? He has now disinstructed them as he felt they were also awful & has gone to an independent agent. This big multi branch company is not best. Avoid!

GoogleI feel like they sell properties under hand. Gave them a really good offer, chased them with call after call, every time promised to call back and get a final offer if needed. But just after the last call checked the website and saw they updated it as property was under offer. All happened within one day. Very unprofessional, never call you unless you call. I am really really disappointed with them. Please avoid if possible and don't believe even for a penny.
