We had a purchase offer accepted subject to sale of our existing home so it was key to move fast. Jackie, Sophie and the team really helped us to get to market fast and get a good offer which allowed our chain to happen. Denise was also really helpful on the purchase.
The legal team led by Wilson also made the completion and missives really clear and simple. Answering all my questions. On the day it was super smooth which made it more relaxing and allowed us to focus on the physical logistics as supposed to legal side.

GoogleCoulters took over representing my landlord last year and intitially seemed promising when it came to getting on top of the many repairs the property required to make it habitable. Unfortunately this didn't last and they come across extremely unprofessional. Ignoring phone calls due to having caller id in their offices so they know who is phoning and can choose to ignore the phones. The property manager for the proper told me to end my tenancy and find someone else to live!

GoogleI would never ever use this agency again , not only were the staff extremely hard to get hold off and took a while to reply to emails etc they had little experience and cost me money through their lack of knowledge and not following through potential sales properly , the owner Mark Coulter was obnoxious and up himself and extremely rude to both me and my husband , we were warned not to use this company and I wish we would have listened .please use other established estate agents and avoid the cowboys ,

GoogleI've used Coulters for a number of years now as a landlord, at one point renting out two properties through them. I am back in my house now but still renting out another property and I have never had any problems with them and the neighbours have been happy with the tenants they've found for us. I have had experience as a tenant myself, renting a property through another agency and received shocking customer service (never getting replies or answers to calls or emails) but as a landlord I have not experienced this with Coulters.

GoogleWe recently used Coulters to sell our lower villa in Trinity and to buy in Morningside. The service across the board was first rate. Everything was done in the timescales promised, there was always someone helpful and knowledgeable at the end of the phone if we needed anything, and the technology allowing you to review your sale progress instantly was really useful.
We decided to sell first, partly as a result of advice from Coulters. They achieved a fantastic price for us on the property we were buying in a stress free manner and all of their advice was spot on. As a result, we then had to ensure that our sale was achieved in tight timescales and in the run up to Christmas. Again, this was achieved quickly and with minimal hassle - and, more importantly, with results that exceeded our expectations. We genuinely could not have achieved the move without them. A particular shout out has to go to the fantastic service from Ben and Louise - thank you!

GoogleWe sold our flat in the west end of Edinburgh in less than 2 weeks last spring and the whole process was brilliant. From first approaching Coulters, their friendly approach and confident and capable staff and solicitors and their ability to sell our flat over 20% above valuation was a wonderful bonus to compliment them. Their abilities extended beyond their people with the technology used being quick and the visibility of the flat in the market being excellent.
Everyone I spoke to was well informed and able to get the information I needed at the time and their assessment of offers tendered was truly helpful.
Having spoken with the buyers I also know they were happy with how coulters conducted themselves.
Brilliant experience from first phone call to sale and leaving our beautiful flat in new hands.

GoogleCoulters do not honour basic codes of conduct for reputable estate agents. After one of their properties caused serious water ingress damage to my flat, they are refusing to send round a plumber to confirm that the leak has been fixed. This leaves me in a state of limbo, as I am unable to redecorate my property until I know the underlying issue has been fixed. Repeated attempts to resolve the issue via telephone & email have gone unanswered. Don't risk dealing with these people.
