GoogleI have been dealing with CKB for over 3 years now as they are the managing agents for my property portfolio. They are highly efficient, extremely knowledgeable and always ensure that my expenses as a landlord are kept to a minimum. Superb Estate Agents in Eltham, with great professional service. I had a property to rent out just before lock down and Cengiz filled me with great confidence that he could find a tenant for the price I wanted and he delivered.The property was advertised and went within days! They made the process stress free from the start to finish. Special thank you to Laura who continuously kept in touch and informed me of every detail throughout the whole process. The flat I was interested in viewing claimed to be available to view immediately on the ad so I called to arrange a viewing the next day. They booked me in and then called me back a few hours later to tell me there was a mistake and they wouldn't have the keys for 4 days as the current tenant was living there no viewings were being done, I explained I was very interested in the flat and wanted to be quick as I didn't want someone else to take it. They assured me I would be the first viewing and re booked me. I got a text the day before the viewing telling me that someone else had got the flat even though i was supposed to be the first viewing.

Dear Hannah, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have investigated this matter further and believe the reason the phone went silent before disconnecting was due to a technical fault with our phone lines. We have been experiencing some technical issues with our network and phone lines for the past few days and want to reassure you that our staff would not simply "hang the phone up" on you mid way through a conversation. The member of staff you were speaking to has attempted to ring you back several times and has phone records showing this. Each time he called your phone, it went through to voicemail. GoogleTerrible estate agent. We had a leak which was not fixed through the ceiling. This was not repaired or re decorated throughout our stay. Estate agents run by thief’s stay well away. Communication is poor and extremely threatening. We involved the council on numerous occasions. 5 reviews are family and friends even employers lol cengiz works for the company. Just shows what kind of people are in the company.

Regarding your comments which state that our agency is run by "thief's" - we are members of The Property Ombudsman, Trading Standards Institution and other regulatory bodies which ensure we operate our agency in the most professional and honest manner at all times, whilst adhering to up to date legislation throughout our organisation as a whole. There is no factual evidence or scenarios where our directors / managers have been deemed "thief's" so please refrain from using such terminology. You are correct, a few of our managed properties do belong to Family and friends who, for a number of years have been using other Estate Agents before deciding to bring their portfolio's over to CKB. Because they are friends and family it does not mean they are unable to leave reviews on the service they have received. To summarise, as we were unable to locate your details on our database it is hard to believe this review is genuine. If this is the case then please email your branch directly and we can investigate this matter in more detai.

GoogleDo not sign up for a tenancy with that agency since you discover at the end of the tenancy that they are not the ones that protect your deposit. They also do not forward communications you send them to the landlord and you only find out afterwards. They also cover their back by giving wrong/partial information to the landlord. Save your money and time. Go somewhere else.

GoogleAvoid renting at any cost. The branch manager has rented me the property belonging to himself, so he was the agent and the landlord as well. Then the time came for me to move out he decided to keep £1000 of the deposit for various things, such as "rust on the bottom of the radiator and bases of stools (pick2)", "dusty window", "burn marks on the gas stove hob" (pick1), "greasy to touch extractor hood" and so on. Some of the things he was asking money for were there then I moved in. Had to appeal to Deposit Protection scheme and wait 3months to get the deposit back.

GoogleEstate agent did not communicate right information to landlord. Estate agent washed their hands and keep on blaming tenants. Do not recommend at all. We found out our full deposit had not been given to the landlord and as such had not been protected fully. Estate agent said we did not allow visits at end of tenancy when we gave them specific hours. Stay away.

GoogleI have just gone through my first experience of renting a property and I am so glad that I went with CKB. From start to finish everything has happened smoothly without delay. Josh Harvey who was dealing with me directly was brilliant. Always on hand if I had any questions and worked extremely hard to make sure that I had a great experience. Josh was very professional and friendly 10/10, would recommend to everyone.
