For any future tenants, I’d avoid CKB if you can. I only received my deposit back two months after moving out, and only after going through the tenancy deposit protection scheme’s single claim process. The property management team were incredibly unhelpful throughout. I was repeatedly told that someone would get back to me with an update, but this rarely happened, meaning I had to constantly chase for any progress. Overall, the lack of communication and the amount of chasing required made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. For any future tenants, I'd avoid CKB estate agents!

Poor experience from start to finish. Note: they didn't manage the property itself (our landlord did, and he was great), they just handled the contract and collected rent. Move-in: Days before we were due to move, they suddenly said the gas safety certificate was missing and we couldn't move in. We'd already given notice and booked a removal company. We were told "tomorrow it'll be sorted" for days on end, forcing us to rebook our move multiple times while our old landlady needed us out. Total lack of honesty about what was actually going on. During tenancy: Never once late or missed a payment. One month our standing order landed on Monday instead of Sunday the 16th (weekend timing, not our doing), and at 8:30am we got a threatening email warning of "consequences" and credit score damage if we did not pay by 8am (even though they had sent the email after that time). Clearly automated, but reflects badly on them regardless and we never even hear an apology about that. Move-out: Made everything unnecessarily difficult. One tenant staying on had to urgently find two flatmates, the agency was slow to respond despite the urgency. Deposit took a month and a half to return. New tenants moved in without even a signed contract, and rent wasn't being passed to the landlord. They expect flexibility and understanding from tenants while offering none themselves. Cannot recommend. First negative review I've ever written, that should tell you something.

Jodie and CKB have been really great throughout the whole renting process. She’s been extremely helpful, friendly, and even working out of regular hours to make sure we’ve been able to do viewings etc. overall positive experience!

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with CKB. After seven months, the entire sale fell through. While I appreciate that some aspects of the process were beyond the agency’s control, we were not given accurate information about the length and complexity of the chain. This proved to be a critical factor in the collapse of the sale. Had we been told the full picture from the outset, we could have planned accordingly and adjusted our expectations and timelines. Instead, we were repeatedly reassured that exchange and completion would take place within agreed deadlines. Relying on those assurances, we made important arrangements that ultimately left us at risk of being without a home. In the end, we lost seven months, spent thousands of pounds on legal fees, surveys and other costs, and had nothing to show for it. The lack of transparency and inaccurate communication throughout the process made an already stressful experience far more difficult than it needed to be.

Never go with CKB, they are the worst estate agents we’ve ever dealt with. Upon vacating the property, they tried to take £800 of our deposit, for made up reasons. We then disputed their claims, and it took over 3 months to get all of our money back from the tenancy deposit service. Poorly run, poorly organised and extremely unprofessional. Avoid at all costs! Another example of their unprofessionalism is when somebody came to knock on the door to view the property, no estate agent was there and I let them in and showed them around myself. We also had an extreme mould issue, which ruined my belongings and it took them 3 months to install a dehumidifier into the back wardrobe. I was told the mould was because of my small plant in the property, rather than the structural damage and leaks from the flat from above.

Incredibly unprofessional company. They have sold the company to a new firm without notifying any landlords. Hidden fees and not upholding contracts and now being able to actually contact anyone in management has become impossible. Stay far away.

We had a great experience renting our home through CBK Estate Agents. Emily showed us the property and both Emily and Georgina were very helpful throughout the whole process. They supported us with all the paperwork, answered our questions, and made everything smooth and straightforward. Both were professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We really appreciated their help in securing our new home and would happily recommend them.

Living experience has been wonderful. It gives me the feeling of “home”. I have had no household complaints. Transportation in and out has been seamless as it’s positioned in a strategic location. Other than the fact that I am still trying to figure out a long lasting solution to the water that over flows at the entrance to the property, everything else has been nothing short of wonderful. For the good experience so far, I must be really thankful to Emily and Cengiz who took time to make settling in such a wonderful experience.
