My elderly father made the move from Weymouth to live closer to us. He had been having increasing problems with mobility issues and no longer wanted all the hassle of looking after his own home. He has been delighted with the move to New Pooles Lodge. The Lodge Manger, Mike Tomlin, is simply amazing - highly efficient and super friendly; nothing is too much trouble for him. Overall its proved to be a most welcoming and comfortable place for Dad to live. Very happy & throughly recommend.

We recently bought our house through Churchill Estates, and feel we owe Andy and his team a lot. The difference between Andy and the different agency selling my home in the North West was huge. Andy was always contactable, despite being busy. He was always completely on-top of any situation and is just a genuinely calm and easy person to get along with. Things did become complicated with my sale, my agents in the North West were drastic and didn't help much at all. Miscommunicating often, and delaying things. In a huge contrast Andy was always on hand to help and even helped mop up my North West agents mess. Truly above and beyond. Working with Andy honestly felt like we were working as a team, as I'm sure everyone that works with him does. As an Estate Agent he's 100% on top of his game, and just seems genuinely natural in his work. If all Estate Agents worked like Churchills then buying and selling houses in the UK would be a much smoother experience. Having just bought our perfect home, we don't ever see ourselves moving, well not for a long time to come. But if we ever did I wouldn't hesitate to work with Andy and Churchills. I feel being able to work with intelligent and professional people that can sync into anyones mindset while dealing with all the complications that come along is a valuable skill. His team were simply great, despite the problems my buyer and the other agents I regrettably employed threw in our direction. The whole chain stayed together, everyone got what they wanted and we are delighted to be living in our new home. If you want an example of what a great agent should be, look no further.

We chose Churchill's for the initial probate valuation of my sister-in-law's house, as my husband had dealt with them years before. We found branch manager Andy to be very approachable and professional. He took the time to hear all about the history of the house that had been in the family since it was built in 1908. Andy arranged for a good photographer to make the most of the plus points. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Unfortunately the first sale fell through last year, but we are fortunate to have found another buyer, due to the quick action of Sally, sales progressor. I can recommend the whole team at Churchill's of Wanstead, for a professional, yet very friendly, selling experience.

Avonbank Lodge

My mum and Dad have been living at Avonbank for 2 years. My Dad is disabled and has had a few problems. It is a comfort that the Lodge manager Amanda Williams is there to call on. This has been the case for me and my mum. She's a very busy lady but is there with a friendly smile. I feel the move to Avonbank was the best thing my parents have done. A warm and friendly atmosphere and location couldn't be better. And for us their children having someone over looking after the Lodge and ensuring everyone's safety is fantastic.

I have lived at Avonbank Lodge in Newbury for six years following my decision to make independent living my final home. Avonbank Lodge is a Churchill retirement development now managed on a day to day basis by Churchill Estates. My decision was one of the most important I have made in my life, and one that I have had no regrets. The lodge is centrally located within Newbury and its amenities, ideal for my personal circumstances. Avonbank Lodge is managed by Amanda Williams who manages the smooth running and ensures the building and grounds are kept to an excellent standard. Amanda has 58 apartments and their owners to deal with, some probably easier than others. .... nothing seems to phase Amanda and she always has a ready smile for all of us, we are fortunate to have her as our manager as are you, her employers.
