GoogleI would like to share my great experience with Curtis, one of the Choice’s agents. From start to finish he has been excellent. Highly professional and very resposnsive. Moving house is said to be extremely stressful however choices and Curtis have made this move very stress free.

GoogleI had the pleasure of dealing with Curtis when selling my house. Slightly strange property which had the refurbishment started but not quite finished so he had to sell the dream to potential buyers. Several viewings in and we finally got a sensible offer which Curtis negotiated prior to giving me the call as he knew the ball park figure I would be happy with knowing the full asking price probably wouldn’t be achievable from the start. Great service throughout and always kept in touch to give updates even if there’s wasn’t much to cover. Highly recommend!

GoogleChoices were the estate agents I purchased my house from. It was a difficult chain due to solicitors but the sales progression was handled by Nicola who was always on the ball and pushed really hard to get it completed. I would happily recommend them.

GoogleAvoid!!! Ebay purchase was sent wrong, seller asked for pictures, 5 were sent and will not answer emails or make contact now. No replacement of goods, should have read other's negative reviews about bad experiences with this company.. Ebay resolution involved!!

GoogleOur experience with Choices After having a baby we decided we needed our flat to be fully managed and selected Choices as the agent we met was very helpful and reassured us that our property would be on the best hands. When the time came to sign the contract, we found that if we wanted full management we were forced to sign a Primary Tenancy Agreement with Choices themselves and they would sublet the property to the tenant. We were very worried about this arrangement but they said that was their only option, and at the time didn’t have bandwidth to start from the beginning again. That was a really bad decision. We started hearing from the neighbours that the tenants were a problem, inconsiderate and that they never knew who actually lived there. A,so the rent was always late, sometimes more than 2 weeks. After asking Choices a couple of times and them reassuring us, we still were not convinced due to the complaints and late payments and decided to give the tenants 2 months notice. We were told we couldn’t as the contract only allows you to give notice in the first six months then you’re literally locked in. The primary tenancy also forces you to pay all of Choices fees at the beginning of the contract which ends up being most of the first two months rent. Anyway after the first year ended, we assumed the tenancy would be month to month as they usually are. But it turns out that the Primary Tenancy Contract has no end date, and is perpetual! We were also extremely surprised to not get any rent the first month of the second year as Choices had front loaded the full fee of the year again!!! Even though the tenant had not renewed another year. After multiple arguments about this with Choices we got no where due to the Primary tenancy trap contract we had signed. Naturally the tenant have notice and moved our two months later. Choices would not refund the fees paid till the end of the year and said they would get us another tenant which would mean we’re locked in with them forever. We decided not to because of the disaster state we found the flat in. The tenants had sublet it to multiple people and even converted the living room into a bedroom without permission. They had installed doors, hangers on the wall, drilled into the ceramic of the walls In the bathroom, removed cupboards, and not reported major water leaks. When we asked Choices how this could happen under their full management watch, they said due to COVID they had done no inspections. When asked why they didn’t do video inspections or visited when the tenant was out they had no response. It cost us around £5000 to fix up the place. We only received the deposit of £1440 back 3 months after the tenants had left. Choices fees and the fix up costs, amd the time it stayed empty together basically wiped out a large portion of what we got from the flat in 14 months (pictures taken from an independent company for exit inventory)
