GoogleAwful experience, we were told three times that Students with guarantor were able to move into the property so we arranged the viewing. We traveled from a different city to view it and right after the viewing they tell us we can't move in because we are students (?) Wasted time and hopes, very unprofessional.

GoogleSo today the 28/11/18 i should be getting the keys to a 2 bedroom house in spratton, iv paid my deposit all the relevemt checks have been completed and the wifes been rushing around getting everything packed in boxes,removal companys all booked for today and best of all i have my own tennant moving into my flat to rent it of me as my 16 month old boy needs his own room hense the reason we are moving. To then get a phone call from kate at chelton and brown to say shes really sorry to tell me that the land lord has pulled out because he has found someone who can pay £50 extra a month is absolute joke!!! Iv had to pay the removal company we hired off for there troubles we have spent over 800 pound on new funiture not to mention the man that who was moving into my place who could now pottentialy be homeless because hes old landlord has found someone else. My partner has been in tears and we are both very futrstrated, id AVOID this company at all cost,even when i was viewing this property i was told to hurry up becase he had another viewing in 20minutes! I always had to phone them they never phoned me even tell me my credit check had passed and we have a moving in date. There are much more proffesional and better companys in northampton do not waste your time with these clowns.....

GoogleWorst agency ever. I've rented with so many agencies but like chelton brown is none. Staff is absolutely under any word you can describe. I've moved out and after a week they sent the report which is perfect and still waiting on the deposit... but they don't care about you if u need the money or not. U can contact them, write to them and always an excuse.. It's bagging for your own money to be paid back. Unbelievable. I had a feeling about this agency prior renting and I didn't listen to my intuition and now I do realise is the worst agency out there. Even if u have a problem they don't bother checking. So this was my experience with them. It's up to you if you want to give it a go. -5 * avoid try something else.

GoogleBooked an appointment to see a flat but it was let a day before and they didnt bother notify us about it. Wasted a drive and time waiting for anyone to show up.

GoogleRented a property with them for 2 years. They make sure they can do everything they can to rip you off no matter what you do. Stay away you will only be disappointed. Sorry excuse for estate agents.

GoogleOne of the best letting agency in Northampton. Very nice staff . Have dealt with one of the office employee Dan Clarke , he is really good,composed person. He gave us proper time to take our decision while viewing property :-) A big thanks to team, specially to Dan :-)

GoogleWe have just rented our flat with Chelton Brown! The flat is in great condition and it was a really easy and smooth process. We had one small issue when moving in but it was handled professionally and quickly so that we could get settled into our new home as soon as possible, couldn't have asked for more helpful or friendly staff. Really happy with the service we received.

GoogleBooked to view a property for sale. I attended at the agreed time but the estate agent never showed. I called them, but because they was closed I could not speak to anyone. I left a voicemail and asked them to call me when they were next open but they didn't. Non existent communication for a prospective buyer. It's a wonder they actually sell any properties.

GoogleI had an excellent experience when selling my house through Chelton Brown. In particular Edward was extremely helpful and kept me updated through the whole process. I would definitely look to use them again in the future.!

GoogleI have been with Chelton Brown in the last 5 years. They were always helpful and well mannered. It is never black or white so do not expect some fairy tale as they have to consider your and also the landlord's interest. They were fair all times. I would like to highlight Nadine and Therese, they work a lot and deal with a great amount of duties but they perform very professionally. Thank you Nadine and Therese! It was a pleasure to deal with Edward as well. Many issues people associate with Agents is coming from the landlord but we tend to blame the messengers. I had only one negative experience a mail from Donna what i found "demanding". Overall i would choose Chelton Brown again and i think they are providing a great letting service.
