GoogleFirst of all, using Chris at Chelton Brown was the best decision we made with regards to our house sale! At first i was a little sceptical as he was so full of confidence and it all seemed a little too good to be true however now we are at the end of the sale I can honestly say he has every right to be this confident as he came through on every single promise! The entire sale took around 8 months as the agent the sellers were using for our onward purchase were the complete opposite to Chris (frankly incompetent) but together Chris and his sale progressor Georgia didn't let this ruin things, I was getting updates from these guys about the top chain that the sellers agent wasn't even getting for me. Due to the time it was taking our buyer began to have second thoughts, I mean why wouldn't she, she was a first time buyer, paid full asking price and had every right to when things weren't moving, but Chris was able to keep it all together for us, now here's the bit I think I was most impressed with. At around 6 months in I was so worried about losing the buyer I called chris and said " we need to keep this together and I'm so desperate to see this through I'm prepared to take up to 5k less if she will stick with the sale" Chris took this onboard and didn't drop a penny! That to me shows he truly cared and didn't just take the easy option as others would have, I could carry on writing and probably fill a book on how these guys deserve your business and how you can truly trust them. But in short, if they say something is getting done they mean it, communication and being kept updated are the biggest things in a house sale and I got everything I needed. They are not the biggest agent in town but they are the most caring I have ever encountered, thank you both very much again, you both went more extra miles then you should have had to and I will always appreciate your service.

GoogleI have been very happy with the property management of my flat since Matthew took over as Head of the Property Management Department at Northampton early in 2020. I have full confidence with the property inspection process and also that any issues that arise will be dealt with efficiently and effectively. The team are very willing to engage in discussing what needs to done and are always very pleasant and helpful. Many thanks to Matthew, Sarah and Josh for sterling work.

When l had problems in completing some of the required documents, Tory Chelton and Anna Hayman were there to guide me. They were very polite and patient throughout this whole process. GoogleThe process from offer to completion was so smooth & quick with clear communication throughout from both the Sales Partner & Sales Progressor - it was good to know that Chelton Brown was chasing the chain to get to the end goal. I had every confidence in the team & always felt that I could contact them at any point, with any queries that I had. I would definitely recommend Chelton Brown to friends and family, using their Solicitors to action the purchase knitted it all together perfectly.

GoogleFirst impressions were very good, professional and very welcoming. The room looked nice when viewing. When moving in there were a few things I was unhappy about: Despite the very thorough check reported via the inventory base website it appears many vital things weren't checked or were checked and passed anyway, for example my shower temp gauge was broken for 1 week (cold showers all week), the plug in the sink was meant to be fixed 1 day after I moved in, again this wasnt fixed for a week (the plug was not an issue for me but I was not informed that the work would be re-scheduled). The chest of drawers is broken and unusable, it is very obviously broken so dont understand how they missed it when inspecting the room, this should have been delt with before I moved in. Aside from this the floor was not cleaned, dust and light debris all over. The kitchen appliances and cupboards were also very dirty, I spent hours cleaning the mould from the washing machine draw and drum, cleaning the fridge and de icing the freezer enough to remove the draws. My first week was not the best. However aside from this, I'm happy with the room and the facilities available. I did send an email asking for the shower to be fixed sooner that 30 days I was initially told, and the issue was then sorted the next day which I was happy about. Overall not the best start but now that most the problems are out the way I'm fairly confident that my remaining time here will be positive.

Professional, helpful and they kept me sane during the delay of my own solicitors. They went above and beyond being helpful and supportive. The kind human touch with professional efficiency... if Carlsberg did Estate agents, these would be it!! Thank you for all your support and my moving in goody box😊!

Any worries or concerns again Georgia went out of her way to resolve these so the whole process went through smoothly. The marketing of the property and flexibility of appointments from Chelton Brown for buyers to view was professional first class service. If you are looking for an agent and staff who really do care, these are the ones!
