Abraham Rawat of Castles stepped into the breach in a difficult situation I found myself in. Things were looking desperate in a long saga of trying to sell-on a contract for an off-plan purchase of a flat I changed my plans on, while waiting for it to be built, during Covid lockdowns. Would be fair to say us and Castles got off to a rocky start(!), to be fair I think they had an unusual situation with holidays and we unfortunately fell down the crack by chance. However, we had a chat, got on the same page, and Josh and Ella went above and beyond to make the process of buying a house smooth and very friendly. Ella was very caring and thoughtful, and Josh was a calming hand - we had a very stressful moment at one point with a misunderstanding about when the seller would release the property but Ella and Josh resolved very much to our satisfaction. We have just bought through Castles and I couldn't recommend them more - all the team were incredibly helpful in getting the sale through from the viewing stage all the way through to completion. They will be your greatest tool in buying and we will most certainly be selling through them when the time comes. A lot of estate agents don't handle sales/purchases personally (despite it being such a big commitment and emotionally draining experience at times) whereas all the team (Sandro and Abraham especially) gave us their time, expertise and it really felt like they cared which made all the difference. If I could give a higher rating I would!

We cannot recommend Castles (Hackney) enough. The support we received from the team was simply outstanding. Due to issues with our buyer’s solicitor a lot of things went wrong and the whole exchange and completion process turned into an absolute nightmare. Ela Yildiz, who looked after our sale, went out of her way to liaise with our buyer and her solicitor, to talk to the agents in the chain and to try find solutions to help move things forward. She always kept us up to date and it took a lot of her time. We were still facing issues with solicitors a day before completion and we were really struggling to keep our calm but Ela’s kindness and professionalism really helped us go through all of it. If it was not for her I honestly don’t know if we would have completed at all.
