GoogleWe were in a 5 person chain with many parts unwilling to compromise on anything, but David managed to push through the exchange/completions whilst keeping everyone happy, thanks!

GoogleMe and my partner rented a house from castle, I personally didn't see it before the signing day, what a mess! Is all I can say, so many things that were wrong with it, numerous calls from me to get simple things IE the garden sorted for being overgrown and just a general mess me and my partner ended up sorting it, they should never have taken the property on, by their own admittance (Mike), nothing but poor service, calls backs? You'd be lucky...
Glad to be away from them, that bad the landlord himself (he was the main problem) let us leave the tenancy 2 months early, speaks for itself, I'm in no way holding castle soley responsible for my experience but as a mediator they should have stepped up with a more proactive role, in sorting the many issues with the property

Thank you for taking the time to review Castle Estates. This was the first time we had let this particular property and had dealings with your landlord. We had expected the property to be ready on your check in day however we were equally surprised at the condition it was left considering the landlord had assured us it was ready. We immediately had professional cleaners clean the entire house top to bottom and also discussed, in length, your options including not moving into the property. To make matters worse once you moved in your landlord insisted that he do all the repairs which were either extremely slow or were never done.
We have now changed our procedures relating to new landlords so that future tenants will not have the similar experience furthermore we have ended our relationship with the landlord in question.

GoogleDO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS!! Caste Estates in Beeston process more than one application at a time and completely lie to you about it. We viewed a property as soon as it went up and put our application in and paid our money straight away. Having told there would be no issues getting the property, we were messed around for a week - during which time we had stopped looking for other places due to the non-refundable deposit we had given. After a week of empty answers and no communication from their end we were told that the landlord had decided to actually give the property to a family member and was taking it off the market.
Unfortunately for Castle Estates, when a couple we knew ended up in the exact house a week or so later their story fell flat! Turns out they had been processing several applications and taking everyone's deposits. We did eventually get a full refund but it seems odd that a holding deposit that is meant to guarantee no other applications are processed during that time, would be taken from more than one person, all in the same week!!
Castle Estates never admitted the truth about the situation and I would never go near them again. There is some really great estate agents in Beeston if you're looking like Robert Ellis, CP Walker and Bairstow Eve - don't waste your time with this one!!

View Agents LandlordFantastic all round
The team at Castle Estates found lovely tenants quickly for me at a good price. The whole process was pain free and they supplied me with valuable advice up until when the tenants moved in. I have just been supplied with the first inspection results and the property is being kept in a better condition than when I lived there which is very reassuring to know. Would recommend to anyone.

GoogleCastle Estates(Nottingham) are the worst letting agency we have ever had to deal with.
There are far better ones in Nottingham.
We would never use them again or recommend them to anybody.
Both landlords & tenants should avoid this company and look elsewhere.
