We had a fantastic sales experience with Cala - Gilchrist Gardens.We dealt with 2 members of staff, Fraz and Liz, and they were both so fantastic and just such a pleasure to deal with throughout the process.They were both so helpful. Couldn't do enough for us and no question was too much. The sales process was so informative as well. This is the 2nd time my partner and I have bought a new build house and we much preferred it this time. The information given to us was like night and day compared to what we got previously from another home builder.

Reservation Process

Victoria and Sylvia have done a great job so far, providing comprehensive information about the development at Jordanhill Park, answering all our questions and giving us plenty of time for two viewings of both a show apartment and the unfurnished apartment in the same block that we have now reserved. Each stage required towards completing the sale has been explained in detail and follow up emails and queries have been dealt with efficiently and promptly. Victoria and Sylvia have both made the process run smoothly with minimal stress. I feel confident that their high levels of knowledge and professionalism will continue all the way to our moving in date and beyond.

A great first impression of Cala

It was with some reluctance we started exploring the market of new build homes outside Edinburgh. Our perspective completely changed after visiting Cala’s spacious and beautiful show homes. Despite being at the high end of the market we did find the quality and overall appearance of the Cala homes unique.We met Amelia in the Bell Oaks Development on two occasions which contributed to our overall impression of a sound and very professional house builder. At this early stage in particular, it’s extremely valuable to speak to someone so knowledgeable, who seems to really appreciate our needs and preferences and our overall position. This has been a real eye opener with regard to potentially investing in a brand new house rather than an older property. We’ve learnt a lot about some of the great design and architectural benefits and features, and the look and feel, of the Cala homes and are quite impressed. Thanks so much for your time, Amelia - hopefully we’ll get there in the end.

We chose our house off plan. My experience with Bucklers Park Sales team has been great, I was apprehensive about going to see a new build as my previous experience with another developer was very poor. Edwina and Maria were friendly and approachable, we were not forced into buying a property and I instantly felt at ease. After deciding quite quickly we wanted to buy a property Edwina was nothing but honest with us discussing through next stages and best approaches The process from start to finish was seamless, Cala gave us recommended solicitors who were also brilliant. George the site manager was personable and gave clear instruction on any demos that were undertaken. No question was a stupid question which is also a big bonus! My overall experience with Cala has been very good, we were met with positivity every time by the sales team when we had to do a visit which made them enjoyable and not stressful.

3 year on going battle with only one looser .. me

i brought my house new 3 years ago off plan, shown a 3d model of my estate, adjacent to my home was shown as a lovely green area, but instead a swale area was built to manage the rain water run-off from the estate, this area is totally unfit for its purpose, ugly / poor design and full of weeds, green stagnant standing water, stinks horribly in the summers so much so i have to keep the windows closed, flys and mosquitoes and prone to flooding after one bout of heavy rain, my wife and myself have made what feels like 100's of telephone calls and emails to cala about this problem, we have even gone to their head office in Staines and demanded a meeting, we have spoken to numerous different people, had a few sight visits, last manager that came out agreed that cala hasn't left it in great condition and promised remedial work will be carried out, nearly a year has passed, we have asked numerous times for a list of work and date of start, we get no reply's back.last time i left a review on this very subject, cala responded with the usual very sorry to hear this etc etc, will will get a member of the management team to call you tomorrow .... guess what ? yep, nobody called ... all so very depressing PLEASE CALA DO SOMETHING POSITIVE

A special mention to Vicky Sowden of Customer Service Team West , she has supported me and my family on our journey and made our experience 5 star.
