Have had great service with the snagging have had a few visits from there customer service Operative. The most recent was from Kyle who did a superb job repainting the front door frame that was prepared before painting when originally built, he sanded back the whole frame to bare wood, primed,undercoated and final coat now looks wonderful. Masked glass and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was complete, excellent service all round.

UPDATE TO BELOW AS OF 20TH JUNE 2024Cala have worked closely with their window subcontractor to make improvements to our predominately east facing windows and we have just had 2 days of work completed on our house at no cost to ourselves. ETHAN RUMNEY in Cala Customer Services has been very helpful in attending to our issues and managing. Really appreciate the fact CALA have attended to this.------original text below------We live in a row of 2 and a half year old CALA homes. Today during heavy rain and wind 2 windows and the front door leaked in my house - 2 quite heavily. It seems this has been affecting a number of the houses for a while and repairs made but not all successful. Whilst we are out of the 2 year warranty this looks like a wider systemic issue and of real concern.CALA customer service initially said they could do nothing about it and referred to the 2 year warranty. However they are now sending contractors tomorrow to investigate.I'll post another review when the picture becomes clearer and hopefully resolved. For now citing the 2 year warranty when I have leaking windows in a 2 and a half year old house does not fill me with confidence.

regret to say that my experience with Cala Homes has been extremely disappointing. Despite numerous attempts to address ongoing issues with my new home, the builder has consistently failed to take meaningful action on major and important issues. It's been months of frustration, with promises of fixes that never materialized or excuses that a third party is responsible for the faults, particularly the faulty toilets. Buying a home should be a positive experience, but dealing with Cala Homes has been a nightmare. I strongly advise against choosing them for your home.------------------------------------------------------------------Reply to feedback from Cala: No meeting has been booked with me!!!. This is NOT trueUpdate:If there is a fault, you must be proactive and address it rather than waiting for NHBC to intervene after seven months, especially when you know there is an issue with the supply and provider of toilets for many homes. What are you waiting for? You know there is a fault but you want someone else to accept the cost of repair/change. Your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and is no longer welcome in my home. They have been Mute for weeks.I was informed by Cala 2-3 months ago that you had a meeting with the toilet supplier and would update me by mid-May. Yet, here we are, with no updates. It feels like you're trying to exhaust people into giving up on chasing these faults. I really don't understand why organizations like the FCA or Ombudsman don't push you to be more responsible.

All of the follow-up visits by Cala on-site staff have been excellent since we moved into our new home. Snagging was dealt with swiftly and with no fuss at all. Cala is a first class house builder but their customer focussed strengths lay in a great after-sales service that helped to make settling into our new beautiful house such a smooth and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

My experience purchasing a home from Cala has been outstanding. I bought my home in February 2023 (Maidenhill, Glasgow), and it has surpassed my expectations in terms of build quality and the materials used. After moving in, I had an independent consultant prepare a snag list and reported it to Cala. They were prompt and efficient in addressing these issues. Now, 1.5 years later, I reported a few minor issues typical of settlement, such as cracks and paint jobs. Claire from Cala’s customer service team responded quickly and scheduled the necessary repairs. Cala has been very accommodating with genuine issues, involving various service providers to address concerns. I especially appreciate Neal Young, who handled the paint job and fixed the cracks. Neal’s professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to address any additional concerns were exceptional. I am very pleased with his work.

I have just had George Fisher and Connor in for some remedial work to my home.Connor was very patient and listened to my concerns and talked me thoroughly through the options of the fix to give me the knowledge to allow me to decide how we should proceed.George was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond on resolving the issues around my home. Such a delight to have in my home and put me at ease knowing the work was being done to a highly professional standard. My wee dog Lexi loved him too!This review is purely for these 2 workmen as this hasn’t always been the case with Cala but these 2 are a credit to the company.

Rob the site manager is also a star! His staff always go the extra mile to be helpful Lucas one of his joiners has been especially helpful my husband and I are retired and have some health problems and have never been made to feel that way! 10/10 Cala Milltimber!

We have recently had George Fisher and Connor Campbell attend our house to finish some snagging works - both were fantastic.George attended over two days to complete some plastering and paint work and he couldn’t have been nicer. He did a really thorough and excellent job; his rapport with customers is great - he’s friendly and puts you at ease. Connor has attended our property a few times now and he’s a very genuine, patient and knowledgable guy. He answered all our questions (of which there were many), was reassuring and, most importantly, did a thorough job.Big thanks to Vicky Sowden for arranging all snagging works to be carried out in a friendly and timely manner!

Just wanted to say that the service I have received from Sharon Trapp (Cala East) was fast and efficient. I had an issue with the walls on both sides of my staircase and Mark came to do the remedial work, which included repair cracks, fixing bulging nail heads and repainting where necessary. He did a brilliant job. He made sure that any mess was kept to bear minimum and left the house very clean and tidy. Thank you both.

Marius was assigned for some maintenance work in our newly built house 7 months after we moved in. He did an outstanding job fixing all the issues. The level of perfection in his work was impeccable. He is a very polite guy who listened to our issues with patience and took his own sweet time to sort out all the issues perfectly. We are really impressed with his dedication towards work and such kind of customer service. It’s not very common these days. I had a leak through my kitchen ceiling from an upstairs flat. Ritu from the Chiltern team was very helpful throughout, from arranging the initial work to find and stop the leak through to organising the repairs and redecoration.
