Cala Joiner

Scott came to fix my front door this morning. He was super helpful and did a great job, he also tidied up before he left which was an added bonus. Couldn’t fault him. Thanks Scott

We bought a Cala home in East Calder

We bought a Cala home in East Calder; it was our first property move in over 15 years. We were surprised at the level of remedial activities on what was a brand-new home, but it is all thanks to our Customer Care Manager Darren Monteith that what could have been a very negative experience has been dealt with very professionally, within an acceptable timeframe, with excellent communication and updates at regular intervals. Well done Darren!

5 stars for Laura, Danny and Telfer!

From initial showhouse visit to the purchase of a beautiful light-filled Cala home, the entire team from Sales to on site staff have been incredibly welcoming, supportive and professional. Special mention to Laura in the Sales team, who supported us through every stage of our purchase . Site managers Danny and Telfer also deserve thanks for their extremely efficient approach. Attention to detail is second to none. We love our new home !

We recently bought a house from Cala…

We recently bought a house from Cala Homes at the Wintringham Estate in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. We were moving from New Zealand and so the move was potentially stressful and complex. However, Cala Homes were great. Once we found a house that we liked, Cala guided us through the process. We used their recommended solicitors and mortgage advisors. As a result we went from our first contact with Cala in March 2024 to moving into our new home on 31 May 2024. Whilst there were some "snags" after we moved in, Cala were easy to deal with and they were all rectified quickly.

A quality developer... well atleast better than the majority of new house developers, a nice big site with plenty of options if you're looking to buy a new home, big or small. There's lots of green space and the village is really quiet aswell. I'm not quite sure about the idea behind all the different coloured houses but whatever floats ya boat!

A smooth and painless experience

The CALA sales team were fantastic from start to finish and they really did everything they could to accommodate my requests. One thing I found incredibly refreshing was the way they approached the sale/reservation - they weren’t pressuring whatsoever and gave me time to make decisions without feeling under pressure to buy. During the process of the build they provided regular personalised video updates on the build and were always very diligent if they found any issues. The sales team were also very helpful with any financial/solicitor chasing.. in terms of the house - I love it so far!

Rough casting repair to 2/3rds of house…

Rough casting repair to 2/3rds of house side wall. The guys from the contractor, were very pleasant, hard-working and professional at all times. The work was completed to an extremely high standard, with the minimum of hassle and intrusion. Claire from Cala was very efficient at coordinating the work, nothing was too much trouble re keeping us informed about what was happening, or answering any questions we had, and unusually she actually rang back to ensure the work was completed to our satisfaction at each stage. Overall a very good experience, and levels of expectation exceeded thank you.
